¡Qué tal amigos en Hive! hoy quiero contarles una anécdota muy particular.

Hello friends at Hive! Today I want to tell you a very particular anecdote.

El 1 de diciembre de 2019 decidimos ir a una discoteca varias compañeras de trabajo y yo. Justo para el 15 ya que ese día es que cobramos. Duramos esos días pensando a que discoteca ir. Hasta que dicidimos ir a La quinta bar, ubicada en las Mercedes - Caracas, la verdad nunca había ido y como éramos varias, decidimos ir.

Llegó el 14, desde temprano hablamos para coordinar que haríamos, dónde nos encontraríamos. Todas las chicas quedamos en que irían a la tienda donde trabajaba y de ahí agarrariamos un taxi hasta llegar a la discoteca.

Llamo a una de mis amigas:

-Aloooo, me imagino que viniste a trabajar?.
-Katy: Holaaa, claro aquí estoy.
-¡Que éxito! Te vienes a la tienda, nosotras nos vamos a cambiar y luego nos vamos. Si tu quieres también te cambias aquí.
-Katy: No chica, yo ya estoy lista. Yo me voy así como estoy.
-¿Seguro? Bueno nos vemos en la noche cuando cierres.
-Katy: si vale, dale está bien.

I call one of my friends:

-Aloooo, I guess you came to work?
-Katy: Hellooo, of course I'm here.
-What a success! You're coming to the store, we're going to change and then we'll leave. If you want, you can change here too.
-Katy: No girl, I'm ready. I'm going as I am.
-Are you sure? Well I'll see you tonight when you close.
-Katy: Yeah, okay, that's fine.

Así llegó la noche y poco a poco llegaron las muchachas, recuerdo que me compre una falda para ir, estábamos muy emocionadas.

So the night came and little by little the girls arrived, I remember that I bought a skirt to go, we were very excited.

-Katy: Eso Karolina, te ves bien divina.
-Karolina: por favor, ésta noche me voy hasta abajo.
-Katy: y tú Betza, se te ven todas las celulitis.
-Yo: jajaja bueno amiga, la falta de ejercicios. ¿Estamos listas entonces?
Karolina: Si vale, vámonos.

Katy: That's right Karolina, you look divine.
-Karolina: Please, tonight I'm going all the way down.
-Katy: And you Betza, you can see all your cellulite.
-Yo: hahaha well my friend, lack of exercise. Are we ready then?
Karolina: Yes ok, let's go.

Señor hacía La Quinta Bar por favor.

Llegamos, era ladies night. Tuvimos que hacer la cola ya que había muchas personas y muchas chicas. Pasa Karolina, pasa Lieska y luego paso yo. Mientras me revisan les hago seña a las muchachas que vayan caminando, nos encontramos y decidimos subir. La discoteca cuenta con 5 salas de diferentes ambientes cada una. Pasamos por 3 y vimos los precios de las bebidas, de los servicios. Ya sabíamos que íbamos a comprar cuando nos damos cuenta que faltaban dos muchachas @caribayarte y Katy. Nos asomamos por el balcón para decirles que estaríamos arriba. Pasaban y pasaban chicas, y nada que se veían ellas.

We arrived, it was ladies night. We had to wait in line because there were many people and many girls. Karolina goes through, Lieska goes through and then I go through. While I was being checked I signaled the girls to walk, we met and decided to go upstairs. The disco has 5 rooms with different atmospheres each. We went through 3 and saw the prices of drinks and services. We already knew what we were going to buy when we realized that two girls @caribayarte and Katy were missing. We peeked over the balcony to tell them we would be upstairs. Girls passed by and passed by, and they were nowhere to be seen.

-Yo: Vamos a bajar a ver si están en la entrada porque no las veo.
-Karolina: Yo tampoco las veo, vamos a ir.

Bajamos, cuando estamos llegando a la entrada estaba Caribay y Katy. Caribay nos hace una seña de que vayamos, Katy tiene cara de molesta, está con los brazos cruzados. No entendía nada. Le digo a las muchachas que me esperen que yo voy.

Voy hacía donde está Katy

-¿Qué pasó, qué te dijeron?
-Katy: No sé, no me quiere dejar pasar. Cuando fui a entrar, me dijo: no puedes entrar con esa camisa, y dejó pasar a las demás. Le pregunté que tenía la camisa y me dijo no, no así no.

-What happened, what did they say?

Lieska y Karolina estaban adentro en la discoteca. Le hice señas a Karolina para que saliera y le dije a Lieska que se quedará ahí, ya que ella tenía una camisa manga larga y no vaya a ser que después no la dejarán pasar a ella.

Lieska and Karolina were inside the disco. I signaled Karolina to come out and told Lieska to stay there, as she had a long sleeve shirt on and they wouldn't let her in later.

Karolina llega.
-¿Qué pasó?
-Yo:-No la dejan entrar por cómo está vestida
-Karolina: y ¿Qué tiene?
-Yo:No sé, el chico no quiere.

Karolina arrives.
-What happened?
-Me: -They won't let her in because of the way she is dressed.
-Karolina: So what's wrong with her?
Me: I don't know, the boy doesn't want to.

Karolina va y se le acerca al señor de seguridad.

Karolina goes and approaches the security man

-Karolina: ¿Mi amor qué pasó? ¿Por qué no la dejas pasar?
-Sr. de seguridad: no, mira como está vestida, con esa camisa no puede pasar.
-Karolina: Pero mirala, está bien bonita.
-Sr. De seguridad: No no, así no, que se cambie.
Permiso para que pasen las demás personas.
-Karolina: Te podemos pagar la entrada, ¿cuánto cuesta?
-Sr. de seguridad: Hoy la mujeres no pagan.
-Karolina: Por eso, dime cuánto cuesta la entrada y te la pagamos.
-Sr. de seguridad: Srita. Ella no puede pasar así, por favor un permiso para que las demás personas pasen.

-Karolina: My love, what happened? Why don't you let her pass?

Karolina se va y llega a donde estábamos nosotras.

-Yo: no vale, vamos a ver qué hacemos. Llama a Lieska para que se venga.
-Lieska: ¿Qué pasó, por qué no las dejan pasar?
-Yo: por cómo está vestida.
-Lieska: y ¿que tiene? Está normal
-Yo: lo mismo digo, pero él no quiere dejar que pase
-Lieska: ¿Qué vamos hacer?

-Karolina: He doesn't want to, what are we going to do?

Katy se va caminando molesta

-Karolina: Tranquila, vamos a teatros bar. Preguntamos cuánto cuesta la entrada y vemos cómo está el ambiente.

-Yo:Hey what's up, let's wait.

Caminamos 3 cuadras para llegar a Teatros Bar, riéndonos tratando de entender qué pasaba.

-Caribay: será que quiere que andemos desnudas.

-Caribay: I guess he wants us to walk around naked.

Llegamos a Teatros Bar y había como 8 personas, preguntamos la entrada.

-Karolina: muchísimas gracias.

-Karolina: 5$, ¿qué haremos?
-Yo: está vacío, y otra discoteca por aquí.

-Katy: Yo mejor me voy a la tienda, agarro un taxi y nos vemos mañana.
-Yo: Quédate tranquila, ni que en Caracas hubiesen dos discotecas nada más.

-Security: $5 each girl

Empezamos a caminar y Karolina empieza hablar con un hombre desconocido que está dentro de su carro.

-Karolina: 5$ cuesta la entrada, pero está vacío.
-Hombre desconocido: Yo me he dado varias vueltas y la Quinta es lo que está más lleno.
-Karolina: Si, pero no nos dejan pasar.
-Hombre desconocido: Bueno vamos a dar otra vuelta.
-Karolina: ¿si,seguro?.
-Hombre desconocido: sí.
-Karolina: vamos pues, ¡montese!.

-Karolina: 5$ is the entrance fee, but it is empty.

Todas nos quedamos paralizadas, viéndonos las caras.

We all froze, looking at each other's faces.

-Karolina: Yo lo conozco, montese
-Yo: Ah ok

-Me: Ah ok

Nos montamos, fuimos a otra discoteca cercana. Era noche de electrónica, 5$ la entrada también. Dijimos que no, queríamos era bailar.

We got on, went to another nightclub nearby. It was electronic night, 5$ the entrance too. We said no, we wanted to dance.

De pronto el hombre desconocido nos dice:

Suddenly the unknown man tells us:

-Podemos ir a Hipocampo, ahí se pasa la noche fino.
-Caribay: yo he ido y si, se baila bastante podemos ir.
-Yo: bueno, vamos qué vamos hacer ya son las 11:00pm.

Karolina me manda un mensaje por WhatsApp:

-¿Cómo que vamos? Ahora quiere ir con nosotras, ¿cómo le digo que no? Si nos está dando la cola.
-Yo: Llegamos a Hipocampo y nos perdemos, nos hacemos las locas.
-Karolina: jajaja será.

Llegamos a Hipocampo y sólo se debía de pagar el servicio de bebidas. Cuando entramos, el lugar también estaba vacío, ya no podíamos hacer nada. Nos tuvimos que quedar.

We arrived at Hipocampo and we only had to pay for the beverage service. When we entered, the place was also empty, we could no longer do anything. We had to stay.

@caribayarte estaba bailando, disfrutando la noche.

Toda la noche fue pura salsa a Lieska no le gusta ese género. Estaba sentada en la mesa aburrida.

Katy también estaba aburrida, aparte de molesta.

Karolina se montó en la tarima por un concurso de baile y perdió.

Karolina got on stage for a dance contest and lost.

Trataba de animarlas hasta que llegó "La hora loca". Bailamos, saltamos, gritamos hasta más no poder.

I was trying to cheer them up until "La hora loca" came on. We danced, jumped, screamed our heads off.

Nos reímos y bailamos hasta que nos dimos cuenta que eran las 5:00am. Decidimos irnos, le dijimos al hombre desconocido que nos llevará hasta el centro comercial para quedarnos en la tienda y dormir. A las 5:21am llegamos al centro comercial.

We laughed and danced until we realized it was 5:00am. We decided to leave, we told the unknown man to take us to the mall to stay in the tent and sleep. At 5:21am we arrived at the mall.

-Buenas, sr. Nosotras somos las encargadas de la tienda Mimaditos, para ingresar al centro comercial.
-Sr. de seguridad: permítame sus carnet por favor.
-Aquí tiene
-Sr. de seguridad: ¿En qué nivel queda esa tienda?
-Autopista
-Sr. de seguridad: Déjeme verificar con mis compañeros.

-Good morning, sir, we are in charge of the Mimaditos store, to enter the mall.

Nos cerró la puerta, se comunicó con sus compañeros a través de un radio.

-Sr. de seguridad: señoritas me están indicando que en ese nivel no hay ninguna tienda Mimaditos.
-¿Cómo tenemos el carnet?, señor por cines Unidos a mano derecha. Al frente está Quiksilvers.

Nos volvió a cerrar la puerta para comunicarse con sus compañeros.

Nos volvió a cerrar la puerta.

Nos quedamos sentadas al lado de la puerta del centro comercial, vimos al personal de limpieza llegar, los cambios de guardia, y ninguno nos quiso dejar pasar.

We sat by the door of the mall, watched the cleaning staff arrive, the changing of the guards, and none of them wanted to let us in.

Entre risas, carcajadas y gritos bajo el efecto del alcohol ingerido, decíamos que no volveríamos a rumbear.

A las 6:00am nos fuimos a la casa de un amigo de Karolina y dormimos casi 2 horas, debíamos llegar temprano a la tienda para poder arreglarnos y estar listas a las 9:30am.
