F1 Zandvoort | Finally they are back

1985 was the last time it was held in Zandvoort, Holland. The official formula 1 racing fest finally is back in the sanddunes nearby the sea. Hopefully today Max Verstappen will thrive today so all Dutchies can be the best sport commenters tomorrow. Heck, we could use some fest after this summer right?

In 2019 the decision fell that Formula 1 was allowed to come back to the circuit. I remember this being a big discussion mostly because of the environmental aspects of it. I do agree with this actually. The circuit lays in the sanddunes in an eco friendly zone where all kinds of wildlife lives.

Now don't expect it that this circuit was deserted over the last couple of years, on the contrary. As a normal civilian it was also possible to drive some laps on Zandvoort circuits, and also smaller races were held here. Just not the mother of all racing matches which mostly includes the amount of people who are cheering on the side as the main problem.

The majority of all the visitors will be arriving either by bicycle or by train which is a good thing and not by car. And also take in consideration that not all visitors are allowed due to covid measures so there are a lot less people there as initially calculated. But still...wildlife and racing..I don't know

I am not even the biggest watcher of Formula 1 racing. I like watching some of it, blogging a bit or taking a nap on the side (come on...that sound is just fantastic for closing your eyes for a second) but this race is one that I like to watch.

The circuit is difficult, it has a lot of curbs quickly following up on each other, so overpassing isn't that easy as also like a Monaco race, which is also always fun to watch.

But you, just some certain events in your own country are just the ones you should be watching. This is one of them. This is Dutch culture because Dutch driver Max Verstappen has been preforming very well over the last couple of weeks.

With the racing tactics going one between Red Bull and Mercedes this is actually a cool race to watch. So turning back to the screen, maybe having an Orange drink (orange is like the home color of Holland) we will be cheering to Dutchy Max again. Otherwise the discussions tomorrow at the coffee machine at work will suck. Because you wasn't there....

Go Max!
