Ma uran, panahon pag tanum hin ganin humay || (Rainy day, season of planting seedlings of rice)

Good day everyone, hope everything is going well. Today I will share with you a pictures I captured by passing by in a rice field. In titled "Ma uran, panahon pag tanum hin ganin humay|| (Rainy day, season of planting seedlings of rice)".

This month of August , is a rainy season here in Philippines. The best season for planting specially for the farmers. A lot of water to sustain a wide landscape of fields. But to much water is not good😂.

As you can see in the picture, there are group of people busy picking the seedlings of rice, the owner of the field hired them to pickup the seedlings and we called them as "Tupad". They are picking the seedlings one by one and then tie on it and set it aside. This procedure is call "Gani" in our dialect. After getting tied all the rice seedlings, they were going to transfer it to the plowed field.

On the other side of the field is a farmer guiding the carabao (at the right side of a picture) to pull the plough or harrow through the muddy soil to aerate the field with air/oxygen, it is called in our dialect as "Aradu". After doing all those steps, its now time for the farmers (Tupad) to plant the seedlings in the field. They will work on it for the whole day until all the seedlings is being planted on the field.

Thats all for now, I will going to share with you the continuation of this post, the season of harvest, may be after four months. 😊
