Today, I made this pen drawing of a cheetah and its cub. The drawing depicts a cheetah cleaning up her cub with her tongue. This is an amazing scene showing the love and care amongst animals and can be observed mostly when these wild cats have just finished devouring a prey. Then, the mother gets the honor of cleaning the plates and her cubs..lol
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are the steps involved in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of the cheetah and her cub. I also added their facial features in this stage.
Next, I began shading and adding add details to the subjects starting with the cub
And finally, I shaded and added details the the mother until I got a satisfactory result.
Making this drawing was daring and challenging but I had to keep going because every drawing I make is a challenge I have to overcome to be better. I was pleased with the result abd I hope tou are too.
