CALLING FOR HELP TO BOUNCE BACK | "JUST A BAD DAY, NOT A BAD LIFE"

These two pictures are just some of the memories that we shared in my friends' (Job and Derich's) home. They were so welcoming and kept their house open for our get togethers. Their mom was also generous, making sure we are comfortable at their place. She'd remember our names and ask how we are doing everytime we visit. Both my friends I've known since I was 8 years old back in elementary days, we were in the same school, been in an arts and dance group, and travelled together.

3 days ago, we were devastated to hear the news that their house for 17 years burned down. Currently it is still being investigated as to what caused the fire. The wind was so strong, aggravating the flames. It took awhile to contact the fire station because the fire station's line was not in service so they had to drive there to ask for help. Some neighbors tried to help by putting the fire off with water from anywhere they can find.

Thank God all of them are okay. There were 5 of them inside the house when it happened, 1 dog, my 2 friends, their mom and their grandfather.

Here is the aftermath of the fire. Literally just ashes. They weren't able to save their things because they said things happened so fast and fire spread out quickly.

Just so devastating to see. I think it's one of the worst that could happen to us. For our house, our home to turn into ashes.

I wanted to help them in the ways that I can. Other than the shirts that I already donated, I thought that I can use this platform to reach out to those who'd be willing to help out.

This is their mom posting to show gratitude and ask for help so they can start over. You'd see that they are still so optimistic and hopeful despite what happened.
