So what is this elephant called now..? / Alors comment s'appelle cet éléphant à présent..?
The name that was selected is that proposed by @edouard
Le prénom qui a été retenu est celui proposé par @edouard
He was the only one to propose a boy name for this elephant,
everyone, me included, assumed it was a girl,
and it is true that all my characters have a graceful side which is easily assimilated to the feminine, which makes it moreover a difficult task when I want to draw a very identifiable boy 😄
I think very little about gendering my characters, therefore everyone sees what they want to see and I find it really cool,
so when @edouard proposed EDGARD, I think I liked the idea that this elephant is probably a boy and that he has the full right to have beautiful long eyelashes and to enjoy sporting a flower on his forehead

Il a été le seul à proposer un nom de garçon pour cet éléphant,
tout le monde, moi y compris, présumait que c'était une fille,
et il est vrai que tous mes personnages ont un côté gracieux qui est aisément assimilé au féminin, ce qui me rend dailleurs la tache difficile lorsque je veux dessiner un garçon très identifiable 😄
Je pense très peu à genrer mes personnages, du coup chacun y voit ce qu'il veut voir et je trouve ça vraiment chouette,
alors lorsque @edouard a proposé EDGARD, je crois que j'ai aimé l'idée de me dire que cet éléphant est probablement un garçon et qu'il a totalement le droit d'avoir de beaux longs cils et d'aimer arborer une fleur au front
