Saludos, la siguiente ilustración pertenece a la serie de las cosas hechas durante la primera fase de la cuarentena, estoy segura que todos de alguna manera resentimos los síntomas de estar encerrados por tanto tiempo y a veces la convivencia en familia se torna un poco hostil, en casa tenemos un ser muy querido pero un carácter un poco acido, esa es mi abuela en muchas oportunidades sentí que enloquecería, debido a unos de sus comentarios no muy amables, y dibuje un boceto rápidamente para liberar un poco el estrés del momento y añadir algo de comedia a la situación.

Greetings, the following illustration belongs to the series of things done during the first phase of quarantine, I am sure that we all somehow resent the symptoms of being locked up for so long and sometimes the family coexistence becomes a little hostile, at home we have a very dear but a little acid character, that is my grandmother in many opportunities I felt that she would go crazy, due to some of her not very kind comments, and I drew a sketch quickly to release some stress of the moment and add some comedy to the situation.

Quiero aclarar que, a pesar del carácter de mi abuela, siempre intento demostrarle mi cariño para que se tranquilice un poco y podamos charlar tranquilamente, siempre he vivido junto a ella y no desearía que hubiera sido de otra forma, porque después de todo podemos llevarnos muy bien y reírnos juntas, realmente amo mucho a mi abuelita aunque me vuelva un poco loca.

I want to clarify that, despite my grandmother's character, I always try to show her my affection so that she calms down a bit and we can chat calmly, I have always lived next to her and I wouldn't wish it had been otherwise, because after all we can get along very well and laugh together, I really love my granny very much even if she drives me a little crazy.

Como dije anteriormente el primer boceto lo realicé sobre unos papeles que tenía en ese momento sobre mi escritorio.

As I said before, the first sketch was made on some papers I had on my desk at the time.

Recientemente quise llevar este dibujo al medio digital parta ello he empleado mi tableta digital y he redibujado el primero boceto.

Recently I wanted to take this drawing to the digital medium so I used my digital tablet and redrew the first sketch.

Una vez termine el dibujo lineal comencé a añadir los colores, para ello he creado nuevas capas para añadir los diferentes colores en capas individuales, seguidamente cree una nueva capa y le aplique mascara de recorte para añadir las luces y sombras sobre la base de color.

Once I finished the line drawing I started to add the colors, for this I created new layers to add the different colors in individual layers, then I created a new layer and applied clipping mask to add the lights and shadows over the base color.

Por último, añadí un fondo acorde con la ilustración, un cuarto acolchado propio de los manicomios, espero que les haya gustado.

Finally, I added a background according to the illustration, a quilted room typical of asylums, I hope you liked it.
