Today, I created this drawing of the legendary American singer, songwriter and civil rights activist, Nina Simone. Her real name was Eunice Kathleen Waymon and she was best known for her versatility in the music industry and was nicknamed the High Priestess of Soul. I had no idea she had passed on (2003) until after making this drawing of her today. Looking at her achievements and reputation, she was truly a legend and one of the best there ever was. I created this drawing using the scribble technique mostly and I hope you love it.
