Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all!
Another rainy day here and all the plants in my backyard are full of little raindrops on their leaves. My furry friend Richy doesn't love the rainy days and so he is sleeping in his comfortable bed close to my sofa.
I'm feeling myself a little lazy this morning, maybe it's because my old bones need to move themselves to recharge my energy. Later I'll excercise my imagination (and my hands) on my sketchbooks, hoping to wake up my mind too. :P
During the past days I worked on a new oil on canvas on the theme "leaves" and yesterday night I finished the piece, so now I can show you the final result:
I worked on it inside my lab room plancing the canvas on one of the easels I have there. The subject is one of my human figures in profile with some delicate leaves on the brown hair.
It's an oil painting on a canvas sized 30 cm x 40 cm ( 11.8" x 15.7" ) and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:
Now this piece is drying, but when it will be ready I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!
