Today, I am going to share my new art piece that is the portrait of Lord Ganesha.
I am sharing this art piece because recently we have celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in India. The festival is celebrated with installation of Ganesha Idols made up of clay in the houses and offices. Ganesha is known to be the God of new beginnings and remover of obstacles in any new or existing work/business. He is also worshiped as God of Wisdom and Intelligence.
The festival has ten day ongoing ritual and on the tenth day devotees carry the Ganesha idols on the shoulder and immerse them into any near by water bodies with all the faith and rituals.
In 2021 it was started on 10th september and the immersion will take place on 20th september.
Heres the steps of the making of the portrait
Drawn the rough outline of the portrait
Filled the color in ganesha's stomach.
Then filled the colors in legs and hand.
Then filled the color in the face
Now filled the color in the background
