REALISM, MINIMALISM, A LITTLE MORE OF THE SAME. [ENG/ESP] REALISMO, MINIMALISMO, UN POCO MÁS DE LO MISMO.
Greetings, comrades artists, who, like me, have an infinite passion for this great ability to capture on a canvas the creative expression of our imagination; This time I have made a drawing using the different graphite pencils that I have at my disposal, to be specific I used pencils of different density of hardness (4H, HB, 3B, 6B) apart I used tools such as a smudger, type cleaners, and erasers to give a better finish to the work done; All this done in a period of time of 15 days and as always in the company of my faithful friend Polar.
Saludos camaradas artistas, que al igual que yo, poseen una infinita pasión por esta grandiosa habilidad de poder plasmar en un lienzo la creativa expresión de nuestro imaginario; en esta ocasión he realizado un dibujo haciendo uso de los distintos lápices de grafito que tengo a mí disposición, para ser específico utilicé lápices de distinta densidad de dureza (4H, HB, 3B, 6B) aparte utilicé herramientas como difuminador, limpiatipos, y borradores para dar un mejor acabado al trabajo realizado; todo esto realizado en un periodo de tiempo de 15 días y como siempre en compañía de mi fiel amigo Polar.
Since I started creating content for hiveblog, I decided to give each creation a purpose, not only to publish on the blockchain, but also to contribute to my evolutionary process and self-knowledge; For this drawing I chose as a reference a female figure with attractive body dimensions to my liking, this helped me accelerate a process of acceptance and detachment that I have been going through in recent months.
Desde que comencé a crear contenido para hiveblog, decidí darle un propósito a cada creación, no solo para publicar en la blockchain, también para contribuir en mi proceso evolutivo y de autoconocimiento; para este dibujo elegí como referencia una figura femenina con unas dimensiones corporales atractivas a mi gusto, esto me ayudó a acelerar un proceso de aceptación y desapego por el que he estado transitando los últimos meses.
Normally when I draw I start the drawings from the bottom of the sheet continuing up to the top, but in this work I prioritize the realization of the hair and the face of the female figure, because I know very well some of the weaknesses that I have in this art; That is why I wanted to focus my attention on achieving a good illusion of curly hair and reflecting the greatest similarity on the face; I can state beforehand that the face of the figure underwent a lot of changes in the process of making this work.
Normalmente al dibujar comienzo los dibujos desde la parte inferior de la hoja continuando en ascenso hasta la parte superior, pero en este trabajo priorice la realización de el cabello y el rostro de la figura femenil, porque conozco muy bien algunas de las debilidades que poseo en este arte; por eso quise enfocar mi atención en lograr una buena ilusión de cabellera rizada y reflejar el mayor parecido en el rostro; de antemano puedo acotar que el rostro de la figura sufrió una gran cantidad de cambios en el proceso de elaboración de este trabajo.
Achieving the illusion of the fabric in a drawing is something that I consider extremely difficult to do, in this work when I began to apply the dimensions to make the fabric resemble, I realized that the proportions of the shoulders of the figure were not exactly proportional to the reference and that caused me not to be able to make all the wrinkles of the fabric in the shoulder area, but I think I did a good job to make it look very similar.
Lograr la ilusión de la tela en un dibujo es algo que considero sumamente difícil de hacer, en este trabajo cuando comencé a aplicar las dimensiones para hacer el parecido de la tela, me dí cuenta que las proporciones de los hombros de la figura no eran exactamente proporcionales a la referencia y eso ocasionó que no lograra hacer todas las arrugas de la tela en la zona de los hombros, pero considero que realice un buen trabajo para que quedara muy parecidos.
After a couple of days off, move on to the abdomen of the female figure that you were capturing in the sketchbook; This area was easier to do, since the lighting that is reflected in this area is greater, therefore the work with the pencil was much faster, without applying so much pressure on the sheet.
Después de un par de días de descanso, continúe con el abdomen de la figura de mujer que estaba plasmando en el cuaderno de bocetos; esta zona fue mas sencilla de realizar, ya que la iluminación que se refleja en esta zona es mayor por lo tanto el trabajo con el lápiz era mucho mas rapido, sin aplicar tanta presión en la hoja.
Then I began to blur the entire upper area that I already had in advance, in order to be able to inspect well the areas where more volume is needed in the shading.
Luego comencé a difuminar toda la zona superior que ya tenía adelantada, para así poder inspeccionar bien las zonas donde le haga falta más volumen en el sombreado.
When I started shading the bottom, I forgot to record that process, when I remembered it, I had already finished the bottom garment and had applied a light layer of shading to the legs.
Cuando comencé a sombrear la parte inferior, se me olvidó registrar ese proceso, cuando lo recordé, ya tenía terminado la prenda de ropa inferior y le había aplicado una leve capa de sombreado a las piernas.
On the legs apply a lot of depth with the shading, to achieve good dimensions and an illusion of effective realism.
En la piernas aplique mucha profundidad con el sombreado, para lograr buenas dimensiones y una ilusión de realismo eficaz.
This was the final result of 15 days of work, going through an emotional trance, accompanied by a bit of stress and withdrawal that I needed to face and accept, thus allowing me to climb one more step in this evolutionary process. Este fue el resultado final de 15 días de trabajo, pasando por un trance emocional, acompañado de un poco de estrés y abstinencia que necesitaba afrontar y aceptar, permitiéndome asi subir un escalón más en este proceso evolutivo.
