I dived in with a sketch as in my usual ritual. After which i laid the colours painstakingly while enjoying the flow. I kept drying the paper at intervals since watercolours has a way of soaking the paper and getting it damp.
After the main part of the work was completed and the paper was dry for reuse. I began outlining it with my rotray Ink.
At first I wanted to use a digital approach but I have been struggling with power shortage of recent. Since I've got hands, I decided to employ that.
So this is basically an illustration of mother and child on paper. I hope this is nothing less than what he imagined it to be. Finally, here is the complete work.
