Hello community , Today I bring an illustration that was a challenge from @grisvisa on instagram, I liked the proposal and wanted to try it. I imagined a story in which a mermaid fell in love with a sailor and vice versa, but they could not be together because he was from land and she lived in the sea, but her love was so great that he kept visiting her again and again, year after year until he grew old and died, the mermaid aged at a different rate than that of humans, so she was seeing how little by little the life of her great love was cut off. The sailor's friends threw his corpse into the sea so that it would be forever with his beloved mermaid, and to this day she is with him, longing to one day talk to him again how they used to.
Pimer paso:
Comencé haciendo el line art de la ilustración para luego rellenarla con color, en esta oportunidad rellene haciendo uso de la pluma ya se no logre cerrar todos los trazos para hacerlo con el busca trazos.
Segundo paso:
Una vez hecho el line art comencé a hacerla sombras y las luces de la sirena y la calavera.
Once the line art was done I started to make it shadows and the lights of the mermaid and the skull.
