These animals have affectionate and care about the well being of their young once. In the absent of the lioness for the being, the lion takes responsible of protecting and catering to for the young ones.
Yeah, animals can also show love to their young ones. Here I drew a lion lying on the floor with heads up while the cub caresses and rest it's body on the lion's. No intruder or prey would dare come close.
