TGIF. Total cliche - I know, but it's true; Saturdays are way better than Mondays 🤣
Anyhow, a couple of days ago it was a Christian celebration, the birth of Panagia, our Mother Mary. I saw a few of great posts about the celebration all around the world with @tegoshei 's post being by far the most emotional one.
Sadly, I didn't even go to church to light a candle. I feel somewhat embarrassed about it since I may not have the best relationship with the representatives of the church, I am however a person of faith especially for our Lady.
Therefore I decided to visit the church visually, virtually and mindfully, through my art.
Prayer can be performed everywhere and its impact can be felt wherever you are.
This artwork is a mixed media drawing / painting using pencil, markers and acrylic paint. Below, you'll find some photos from the process.
