It's been a while I picked up my acrylic paint and I know I said I hated it, but last night, while watching Seinfeld, I had a desire to see Mojo Jojo and His infernal highness from the Powerpuff girls on a circular canvas. So, this morning, I went shipping for circular canvases and painted these :
I realized I don't actually hate acrylics. I just needed to paint thicker and with a smaller canvas to enjoy the process. And of course, finding subjects that are interesting makes it a lot more exciting. I think I'll paint more illustrations with acrylic till I get comfortable.
