Forget-me-not fowers are adorable pink, white, or blue flowers that bloom in spring and often seen as a symbol of remembrance, faithfulness and love. They are natuve to Europe and some species can easily take over your garden as they spread a lot. I love the vibrant blue ones with yellow in the center, so charming and difficult to overlook.
Ever wondered why Forget-Me-Not flowers are called that? I wonder that a lot, maybe it's because theyβre like the needy friends of the flower world β they just can't bear the thought of you forgetting them!πΌ
Legend has it that a knight picked these flowers for his lady love before falling into a river, shouting, 'Forget me not!' as he was swept away.
Is it true though because that's dramatic!π
I enjoyed drawing this because it quickly turned into a calming session, zero pressure which it took a lot of time because I just kept going.
Happy Friday!!
