Everyone's caught up in the beat at one point or another, some at the party, in the church, on the radio in a bus, through their earpiece even when working. All unconscious of their immediate environment because the beat has made them high and they feel at the top.
I decided to use an African lady as my subject in this painting because they are known to be great dancers and their colourful attires are beauty to the eyes, she is caught up not in just any beat but in a western type regarding the musical notes and instrument surrounding her.
I branded this wear using acrylic paint and my clothing is made of cotton so they work together.
