Good day hivers! I am excited to share with you my latest watercolor portrait after months of not using watercolors. Today I paint Billie Eilish and I used a different method of color layering. Before, I usually paint my portraits directly with their skintone colors, I used yellow and orange often. I also tried before the green foundation. But today, I tried using blue color for the foundation of my painting. This idea is from youtube creators who use blue and green foundations on their portrait paintings. I usually saw a lot of them using this technique.
At first, I was a bit skeptical if I can really pull off the same results because this is somehow an experimental way to me, for now. But the result made me realize that I should always trust the process and I'm glad that it turned out fine <3
