Whatever the outcome is, if you put your heart on what you are doing... it's an effort!
Hello art lovers! and to those who reach this post. How's everyone out there, hope we are all fine, safe and sound! 😊
For this post of mine, i want to share my First ever try charcoal portrait. My sister asked me to draw her, and i tried to draw her by charcoal portrait.
Let me share how I did it!
As i always do, i choose clear photo reference. And processed it on Grid Drawing app. I put grid by this app.
After that, i also put grids on my SKETCHPAD same grid on the reference.
Then, i draw the sketch. It will serve as a guide where will i put the nose, eyes, mouth, highlights, and shadows.
Next, I'm able to start to draw the details. I started at the eye (eyeball, eyelashes, and brow) I used my 8B graded pencil then i use the brush to put some shadow effects.
Next is the nose. same process with pencil and blending brush.
followed by following parts and details as seen in the pictures.
Okay art lovers, that's all for this piece of mine. Hope you got my process. Hope you learned a little bit something. 🙃
Thanks again for viewing, stopping by, and taking time to read this post.
Hope you like it!
