Today I want to show you my latest work, it is a painting made on canvas with acrylic paint, the subject is a very famous waterfall in my state, it is known as the Wine Cascade, since the water and the sediments make the water see a very beautiful reddish color when reflected, I did this painting with the purpose of participating in an Art Exhibition that will take place tomorrow Wednesday in my city and since I already delivered it, this time I want to show you how I did it . I hope you enjoy it.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien donde quiera que estén. Hoy quiero mostrarles mi última obra, se trata de un cuadro realizado sobre lienzo con pintura acrílica, el tema es una cascada muy famosa de mi estado, es conocida como la Cascada del Vino, ya que el agua y los sedimentos hacen que el agua se vea de un color rojizo muy hermoso cuando se refleja, este cuadro lo hice con el motivo de participar en una Exposición de Arte que se llevará a cabo mañana miércoles en mi ciudad y como ya hice la entrega, en esta oportunidad quiero mostrarles como la hice. First I prepared the canvas, since the canvas was not prepared, so with matt white paint I covered it all and sanded it with a very soft sandpaper to remove the roughness, after that I prepared the paints, I bought a set of acrylic paints and a set of brushes, I wanted the finish to be as good as possible, so I used new brushes. I did the drawing with pencil and I started by painting the sky and the clouds, here I used the color cerulean blue and titanium white.
Primero preparé el lienzo, ya que la tela no estaba preparada, así que con pintura blanca mate la cubrí toda y la lijé con una lija muy suave para quitar las asperezas, despues de eso preparé las pinturas, comp´re un juego de pinturas acrílicas y un juego de pinceles, quería que el acabado fuera lo mejor posible por eso utilicé pinceles nuevos. Hice el dibujo con lápiz y comencé pintando el cielo y las nubes, aquí utilicé el color azul ceruleo y blanco titanio.

Then I use a gray color that resulted from the mixture of white with a bit of black, I used this color to paint the surface of the stones, these threads are characterized by being something like clay, so I alternate the colors between gray and also ocher mixed with light face color. It was a bit difficult to paint this part since the rocky surface is always very irregular, to better achieve that effect I used an angled brush.
Luego utilizo un colo gris que dio como resultado de la mezcla del color blanco con un poco del color negro, este color lo utilicé para pintar la superficie de las piedras, estas roscas se caracterizan por ser algo como arcilla, así que alterno los colores entre gris y también el ocre mezclado con color face claro. Fue un poco dificil pintar esta parte ya que la superficie rocosa siempre es muy irregular, para lograr mejor ese efecto utilicé un pincel angular.

The next step is to paint the vegetation, this part also has an irregular shape as everyone knows, so I try to find the most consistent tones for all the vegetation by mixing colors like green, yellow and ocher. I use the same brush for the rocks, since this one seemed more appropriate to achieve the effect of the leaves from a distance, which can look blurred and blurry.
El siguiente paso es pintar la vegetación, esta parte también tiene forma irregular como todos saben, así que trato de buscar los tonos más acordes para toda la vegetación mezclando colores como evrde, amarillo y ocre. Utilizo el mismo pincél para las rocas, ya que este me pareció más indicado para poder lograr el efecto de las hojas desde la lejanía, que pueden verse difuminadas y borrosas.

Going down the rocks before reaching the small lake there is a small wooded area, here I first made a dark green base and then with this fan-shaped brush I drew the leaves and gave the green manchas a tree shape, this part of it I really liked how it turned out, there is always some part of the painting that we are doing that catches our attention. Then in the internal zone of this small forest I drew the diffuse stems of the trees using this angular paintbrush.
Bajando por las rocas antes de llegar al pequeño lago se ubica una pequeña zona boscosa, aquí primero hice una base un color verde oscuro y después con este pincel en forma de abanico dibujé las hojas y le di forma de árbol a las mancas verdes, esta parte me gustó mucho como quedó, siempre hay alguna parte de la pintura que estamos haciendo que nos llama la atención. Despues en la zona interna de este pequeño bosque dibuje los tallos difusos de los árboles utilizando este pintel angular.

The next step was to paint the other side of the rocks using the previous method, mixing gray and ocher colors. I also painted the vegetation, although on this side of the waterfall it is not as abundant. Then I painted the falling water using blue, gray and white colors, from this mixture I was able to make the effect of falling water using a soft brush to blend. Finally I painted the water that is concentrated in the small lake, which gives its name to this waterfall, to achieve the effect of the wine color I used dark brown, scarlet red and ultramarine blue, from this mixture I was able to achieve something similar to the tone of the water, I drew and painted the stones that are under the water as well as the ones that come out. For the reflection of the rocks on the water I used the fan-shaped brush and also the angular brush. In this way this painting was finished.
El siguiente paso fue pintar el otro costado de las rocas utilizando el método anterior, mezclando colores grises y ocre. También pinté la vegetación aunque en este lado de la cascada no es tan abundante. Despúes pinte la caída de agua utilizando color azul, gris y blanco, de esta mezcla pude hacer el efecto del agua cayendo utilizando un pincel suave para difuminar. Por último pinté el agua que esta concentrada en el pequeño lago, la cual da su nombre a esta cascada,, para lograr el efecto del color vino utilicé marrón oscuro, rojo escarlata y azul ultramar, de esta mezcla pude lograr algo parecido al tono del agua, dibujé y pinte las piedras que estan debajo del agua así como las que sobre salen. Para el reflejo de las rocas sobre el agua utilicé el pincel con forma de abanico y también el pincel angular. De esta manera quedó finalizada esta pintura.
This is how this wonderful work was left, I have visited this waterfall 3 times since it is a place that is used regularly to camp and spend the night and the truth causes to stay living there. I wish I had the time and money to come back very soon. Así quedó esta maravillosa obra, he visitado 3 veces esta cascada ya que es un lugar que se usa regularmente para acampar y pasar la noche y la verdad provoca quedarse viviendo ahí. Deseo tener el tiempo y el dinero para volver muy pronto. Espero que les haya gustado como quedó, mañana será la exposicion así que si me lo pemriten tomaré muchas fotografías para luego compartirlas, me despido hasta pronto, que tengan un feliz día.
