Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are very well, today I want to share my latest drawing. It is a dragonfly, a very noble insect that walks from puddle to puddle and resembles an old airplane. There are many colors and shades. This I have drawn macrophotography style, with the background out of focus and the object well defined. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero compartir mi último dibujo. Se trata de una libélula, un insecto muy noble que se pasea de charco en charco y que se asemeja a un antiguo aeroplano. Los hay de muchos colores y tonos. Este lo he dibujado estilo macrofotografía, con el fondo desenfocado y el objeto bien definido. Espero les guste.
To start, we make the dragonfly on a flower, we draw the silhouette gently with a pencil and then we begin to color. I tend to move from the bottom forward, it gives me a better perspective of the object. And we began to paint the background with different shades of green.
Para comenzar hacemos la libélula sobre una flor, dibujamos con lapiz suavemente la silueta y luego comenzamos a colorear. Yo tiendo a diujar desde el fondo hacia adelante, me da una mejor perspectiva del objeto. Y comenzamos a pintar el fondo con distintos tonos de verde.
The trick to paint the background well is to alternate between light and dark tones, the dark tones always tend to go more towards the back while the light tones more to the front near the object. To achieve a better mix of colors we use mineral oil and blend with a brush. In this way we will cover all the parts that even the color has not penetrated strongly.
EL truco para pintar bien el fondo es alternar entre tonos claros y oscuros, los tonos oscuros siempre suelen ir mas hacia atras mientras que los tonos claros mas al frente cerca del objeto. Para lograr una mejor mezcla de colores utilizamos aceite mineral y difuminamos con un pincel. De esta manera cubriremos todas las partes que aun el color no ha penetrado fuerte.
After applying oil and piencel we apply another layer using the same colors and repeat the previous process, in this way we will achieve uniformity.
Luego de aplicar aceite y piencel volvemos a aplicar otra capa usando los mismos colores y repetimos el proceso anterior, de esta manera lograremos uniformidad.
After we began to paint the body of the dragonfly, we began first with some blue spots with a very light tone, then with watery green and some turquoise. In the parts where the shadow reaches we paint it with purple and dark blue. We are adding black in the extremities and thus we repeat the process until the tail is completed.
Despues comenzamos a pintar el cuerpo de la libélula, comenzamos primero con algunos puntos azules con un tono bien claro, luego con verde agura y algo de turqueza. En las partes donde la sombra alcanza lo pintamos con morado y azul oscuro. Vamos agregando negro en las extremidades y así repetimos el proceso hasta completar la cola.
To finish we paint the wings and the flower. For the wings I did not use much color, I just painted gently with the base colors, and then I joined them with white, with black I gently made the divisions that the wings bring. The flower was painted with a mixture of lilac, purple and navy blue. Then I mixed with mineral oil and at the end I made the finishes of the plant with a white pastel pencil.
Para finalizar pintamos las alas y la flor. Para las alas no usé mucho color, unicamente pinte suavemente con los colores base, y despues los uni con color blanco, con color negro hice suavemente las divisiones que trae las alas. La flor la pinte con una mezcla de lila, morado y azul marino. Luego mezclé con aceite mineral y al final hice las terminaciones de la planta con lapiz pastel de color blanco.
This is how the final work has been, some people who saw it after I finished assured me that I had drawn the dragonfly on a previously printed paper and I told them that it was not like that, I showed them the process and they did not believe me. Así ha quedado el trabajo final, algunas personas que lo vieron luego que terminé me aseguraron que yo había dibujado la libélula encima de un papel previamente impresio y les dije que no fue así, les mostré el proceso y no me creían.
