Today I want to show you my latest drawing, it is a sunflower painted with prismacolor colors. Like all flowers in nature, this beautiful specimen has a very intense yellow color that resembles our sun, hence the origin of its name. Let's get started.
Hola amigos de Hive, saludo a todos los dibujantes de esta comunidad que hacen grandes obras para deleitar nuestros ojos. Hoy quiero mostrarles mi último dibujo, es un girasol pintado con colores prismacolor. Como todas las flores de la naturaleza este bello ejemplar posee un color amarillo muy intenso que se asemeja a nuestro sol, de ahí la procedencia de su nombre. Comencemos.
First we choose the paper to draw, this time we will use opaline white cardboard, the white color will help us to better establish the shades of yellow that we will use. We start by drawing the flower with a pencil with a hard lead like a 4H, only lines to guide us, then we start with the lightest shade of yellow and paint the petals, we will also mix ocher yellow, orange and some red.
Primero elegimos el papel para dibujar, esta vez utilizaremos cartulina blanca Opalina, el color blanco nos ayudara a establecer mejor los tonos de amarillos que usaremos. Comenzamos dibujando la flor con un lápiz de mina dura como un 4H solamente lineas para guiarnos, luego comenzamos con el tono mas claro de amarillo y pintamos los pétalos, mezclaremos también amarillo ocre, naranja y algo de rojo.
We continue the same process with all the following petals, starting with light tones and then the darker ones for the shadows. Keep in mind that there are petals that are on top of others so it covers the light, these we make the shadow including light brown.
Continuamos el mismo proceso con todos los pétalos siguientes, comenzando con tonos claros y luego los mas oscuros para las sombras. Hay que tener en cuenta que hay pétalos que están encima de otros así que les tapa la luz, estos les hacemos la sombra incluyendo color marrón claro.
After we draw the area of the flower where it has the seeds, when we see a sunflower from the front this part is arranged in a spiral shape, it is very beautiful to contemplate the geometry of this flower and that pattern that is repeated in many examples of nature. We draw small circles where we will emphasize the light and the dark since it is a low light area.
DEspués dibujamos la zona de la flor donde tiene las semillas, cuando vemos a un girasol de frente está parte esta ordenada en forma de espiral, es muy hermoso contemplar la geometría de esta flor y ese patrón que se repite en muchos ejemplos de la naturaleza. Dibujamos haciendo pequeños círculos donde haremos énfasis en el claro y el oscuro ya que es zona de poca luz.
The next step is to draw the stem and some leaves, as we can see we start with a light green tone and we darken in the parts that are supposed to be shadows while the edges are illuminated, this flower on its stem usually has small scales, then Leaving this part almost blank we will ensure that its space is occupied.
El siguiente paso es dibujar el tallo y algunas hojas, como podemos observar comenzamos con un tono verde claro y vamos oscureciendo en las partes que se supone hay sombras mientras que los bordes los dejamos iluminados, esta flor en su tallo suele tener pequeñas escamas, entonces dejando esta parte casi en blanco lograremos que su espacio sea ocupado.
The last step to complete this beautiful drawing is to make the background, whenever I draw a drawing I usually start from the bottom and end at the object but this time I wanted to do it the other way around, I didn't feel very comfortable, it changed my perspective a lot. The background is a blue sky, so we draw it using light blue, dark blue, some soft strokes of turquoise green and also some lilac, then with a soft brush and mineral oil, we blur to blend and obtain a beautiful tonality and we are done our Sunflower.
El último paso para culminar este hermoso dibujo es hacer el fondo, siempre que hago un dibujo suelo comenzar desde el fondo y finalizando en el objeto pero esta vez quise hacerlo al revés, no me sentí muy cómodo, cambió mucho mi perspectiva. El fondo es un cielo azul, así que lo dibujamos usando azul claro, azul oscuro unos suaves trazos de verde turquesa y también algo de lila, luego con un pincel suave y aceite mineral, difuminamos para mezclar y obtener una hermosa tonalidad y así habremos terminado nuestro Girasol.
This is how this beautiful Sunflower has been, it gave me some problems, such as placing the petals well so that they did not look uniform and could be appreciated in a better way. I did it in two different sessions because I had to attend to other matters, those pauses took away my concentration so I decided later to finish it today that I had the day off to draw more calmly. I hope you liked it, it is one of the flowers that is seen more on the internet apart from roses and that enjoys great popularity. Así ha quedado este hermosos Girasol, me dio algunos problemas, como por ejemplo ubicar bien los pétalos para que no se vieran uniformes y pudiera apreciarse de una mejor forma. Lo hice en dos sesiones diferentes porque tuve que atender otros asuntos, esas pausas me quitaban concentración así que decidí luego terminarlo hoy que tuve el día libre para dibujar más tranquilo. Espero que les haya gustado, es una de las flores que se ve más por Internet a parte de las rosas y que goza de una gran popularidad.
