Do you listen to music? Which song(s) gets you going? Do you prefer no music? Perhaps radio?
I like rock, pop, J-pop but when I draw, it has to be anime songs.
I’m Japanese and I’m such a big anime fan so the anime songs put me in a good mood for drawing.
I’ve added some songs that I’ve been listening to nowadays. I hope you enjoy some of them while visiting my blog.
Anyways, I’ve been sketching for my new artwork. I’m not sure if I am going to complete all of them but I thought I would post my progress here.
I really like sketching in grayscale using a thick brush tools. I think using the fine pencil brush tool makes me focus on the details too much too early and makes it harder to colour later.
I’ve been taking gesture drawing class on Skillshare.com. This class is 11 hours long and I’m only 1/3 of the way done but I started to notice that I am applying the knowledge I learned when I draw.
音楽は聴きますか？お気に入りのやる気の出る曲はありますか？静かな方が作業が進みますか？ ラジオ？
私は洋楽のロック、ポップをよく聴きますが、お絵描きをする時はアニメのオープニングかエンディングに使われた曲がいいですね。かなりのアニメオタクですから気分が上がります、笑
いくつか動画を貼り付けたので、良かったら聞いてみてください。さてさて、今日はスケッチをいくつか描いたので載せておこうかと思います。
細い鉛筆ツールでスケッチするより、ベタベタと厚塗りするようにグレートーンでスケッチするほうが私には合っているようです。後で色が塗りやすいです。
Skillshare.comでジェスチャードローイングのクラスを受け始め、11時間あるうちの３分の1程しか受講していませんが、習ったことを応用出来ている気がします。
The first and the second sketches are one artwork in progress. I used the pose reference from Pinterest but it reminds me of the scene from the Jujutsu Kaisen opening. If you have been watching the second season, you might recognize it. The music video above is the opening song of Jujutsu Kaisen first season. The video below is from the second season.
I’m just using the pose as a reference. I’m hoping to draw my own character here.
1枚目と2枚目のスケッチは同じ作品の経過です。Pinterestのポーズ写真を参考にして描きました。ポーズだけ見ると、呪術廻戦、第2クールのオープニングの1シーンを思わせますが、オリジナルで描こうと思います。
呪術廻戦第2クールのオープニングを観た方には分かるかもしれません。
上の動画は第1クール、下の動画は第2クールのオープニングソングです。ダークですがどちらもアニメのストーリーをよく考慮し且つかっこいい曲です。

I listen to KANA-BOON often. I love the uplifting voice. Their songs have been used on many anime opening songs. Fire Force, Mobile Suit Gundam-Iron-Blooded Orphans, My Hero Academia, Naturo, Boruto... You might recognize their sound.
Well, the video below is not played by KANA-BOON but this person is singing one of the Naruto opening songs “Silhouette” in Spanish and he is really really good!
忍者が描きたい！忍者っぽいポーズも描いてみました。カカシ先生を描こうか、オリジナルで描こうか考え中です。
KANA-BOONの曲はアニメのオープニングによく使われているのでよく聴きます。炎炎の消防隊、機動戦士ガンダム-鉄血のオルフェンズ、僕のヒーロアカデミア、ナルト、ボルト。。。ボーカルさんの声は張りと伸びがあり聴くと気分が上がります。
下の動画はKANA-BOONではないのですが、KANA-BOONのシルエットという曲、ナルトのオープニングで使われた曲を、なんとこの方スペイン語で歌っています！そして上手！日本のアニメや音楽は海外でも人気で嬉しくなります。
オリジナルもぜひ聞いてみてくださいね。
Finally, one of my favourite bands. BURNOUT SYNDROMES. They’ve been playing many opening song for Haikyuu!! the best Sports anime ever and also Dr. STONE.
最後は大好きなBURNOUT SYNDROMESです。最強のスポーツアニメ、ハイキュー！！のオープニングを何曲か歌われていますが、どれもかっこいいし、アニメの内容を考慮して書かれているので聴いているだけでアニメのシーンが目に浮かびます。
Dr.STONEのオープニングも彼らの曲が使われています。
I think I’m going to work on this sketch first. I feel like drawing fan art after seeing my HIVE sister @tegoshei drawing her fan art.
It looks like Ushijima (Haikyuu!!)and Bakugou (My Hero Academia) but it’s not by the way.
