I had so much fun drawing my cat the other day, I thought that I should keep drawing before I get too busy with something else.

This time, I decided to draw my parents’ dog, Hana. I think she is over 16 years old now. She had some kind of eye problem years ago. She had to have her eyes removed and replaced with fake eyeballs. I’ve met her couple of times since then. It is amazing that she has learned to get around without her eyesight.
The photo is of when she was young.
I used the dropper tool to get the colours from the photo and applied it to my canvas as usual.
It looks like a black octopus with ears right now but don’t worry. It’ll get better, I hope XD
先日のお絵描きがとても楽しかったので、他の事に気を取られないうちにどんどん描こうと思います。
先日の我が家のニャンコのお絵描きはこちらです。
今回は実家のわんこを描こうと思います。名前はハナ、確か16歳より上だったと思います。
数年前に目の病を患って眼球を切除しましたが、義眼を入れてもらったので見えない以外は普通のおばあちゃんわんこです。数回会ったことがありますが、ちゃんとお散歩も行きます。
写真はまだ目が見えていた頃のものです。
さてさて、いつものようにスポイトツールで写真から色をもらってキャンバスに置いていきます。
なんだか真っ黒な耳付きタコ？みたいですが、多分大丈夫、笑
Hana is a black Shiba inu so let’s add some Shiba inu patterns on the canvas as well.
ハナちゃんは柴犬ですので、柴犬カラーを置いていきます。
The lasso tool is very useful as always.
今回も自由選択ツールのお世話になりました。
After applying all the colour, it’s time to smooth the colours and add details.
色を置き終えたら、ブレンドしてディテールを描き込みます。

I gave her a set of good eyes so that she can see.
I also adjusted the shading and light by using Overlay and Glow dodge layers.
写真の目はなんだか怖いので、よく見えそうな目を描いてあげました。
オーバレイと加算発光レイヤーを使って影と光を調節しました。
