Portrait of A Man In Love

It's been a week since my last post. I wish I can post every day but I don't have much spare time to spend on blogging these days. Like everyone else on the face of this planet, the pandemic has changed our lives in so many ways. My country is still experiencing lockdowns one and a half year after the pandemic started. The surges in new cases threatened to topple our healthcare system. The schools are closed, people are urged to stay and work from home.

The school sessions are conducted online and homework and school projects are piling up. I have two kids. My daughter is 11 and she is quite an independent learner but she has plenty of assignments to do that require me and her dad to be involved. And my 7 years old son needs constant tutoring because of his young age. Homeschooling takes at least 8 hours of our time most days of the week.

I know I shouldn't complain and the main focus of this post is definitely not about that.

To curb my stress and to chill I decided to sketch my Lee Seung Gi! Oh I talked about him a bit in one of my previous posts here.

The latest news on K-entertainment is that this guy is having a new girlfriend! I won't delve into the details here because you can read (if you want to) about all of that online. But he does seem to be more cheerful these days...so I guess it has something to do with him being in love. The reference photo of this portrait is taken from Master In the House episode 173, when he was performing a song with the legendary Kim Kyung Ho. You can watch it here:

I am bad at taking progress photos because I got all engrossed and kept on forgetting (to take photos). But here they are.

And here is the reference image.
