La navidad es mi época del año favorita. Me hace sentir feliz y llena de ilusión. Una de las cosas que más me gustan son los árboles de navidad por sus adornos y sus luces.

Recuerdo cuando era niña, me sentaba frente al árbol a mirar mientras tomaba una taza de chocolate caliente con galletas y me perdía entre esos brillos y la clásica musica navideña que tenían los adornos.

Es por eso que hoy quiero entrar al Concurso "Navidad de arte " En Hivearte 2022 con un dibujo al que llamo Árbol entre líneas.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It makes me feel happy and full of illusion. One of the things I love the most are the Christmas trees for their ornaments and lights.

I remember when I was a little girl, I would sit in front of the tree and watch while I had a cup of hot chocolate with cookies and I would get lost among those sparkles and the classic Christmas music that the ornaments had.

That's why today I want to enter the Contest "Christmas of Art " In Hivearte 2022 with a drawing I call Tree between the lines.

Este dibujo fue espontáneo, resultado de unas horas libres que decidí emplear en una tarjeta navideña. Que quiero dedicarle a mi amiga @dayadam con mucho cariño en esta navidad.

Lo primero que hice fue buscar una hoja de cartulina blanca,marcadores de color negro de diferentes puntas: punta pincel, pinta redonda y pluma de 0.5mm, un lápiz y un marcador dorado.

This drawing was spontaneous, the result of a few free hours that I decided to spend on a Christmas card. I want to dedicate it to my friend @dayadam with much affection this Christmas.

The first thing I did was to look for a sheet of white cardboard, black markers of different tips: brush tip, round pen and 0.5mm pen, a pencil and a gold marker.

Hice el árbol a mano alzada con la pluma, trazos sencillos y con la misma pluma comencé a hacer pequeñas lineas para simular las ramas del pino. Dibujé algunos adornos en el árbol y dejé algunas partes sin pintar para rellenarlas con marcador de colores luego.

I made the tree freehand with the pen, simple strokes and with the same pen I began to make small lines to simulate the branches of the pine tree. I drew some ornaments on the tree and left some parts unpainted to fill them with colored marker later.

Pinté la estrella haciendo surcos dorados y rellené con el marcador negro punta pincel.

I painted the star making golden grooves and filled in with the black brush tip marker.

Dejé un borde blanco al rededor de cada figura.

Hace unas semanas, hice un taller de lettering básico y estaba ansiosa de probar mis letras. Las dibujé con lápiz ya que todavía soy novata. Luego las pinté con el marcador dorado, pinté la sombra con un lapiz HB y le di luz a cada letra con un corrector líquido blanco.

I left a white border around each figure.

A few weeks ago, I took a basic lettering workshop and was eager to try my letters. I drew them with pencil since I am still a novice. Then I painted them with the gold marker, painted the shadow with an HB pencil and lightened each letter with a white liquid concealer.

Finalmente rellené toda la hoja con líneas diferentes en grosor, tamaño y forma. Para que mi árbol de navidad quedara entre líneas.

Finally I filled the entire sheet with lines of different thickness, size and shape. So that my Christmas tree would be between the lines.
