Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blessed day to everyone. Welcome to another exciting artwork I have created today. In today's post, I painted a stunning scenery of nature's beauty.
Hidden Haven Lake is a breathtaking sight to witness. This hidden gem sends out an air of silence and stillness. The lake's crystal-clear waters reflect the sparkling colors of the landscape, creating a very attractive display of the magnificence and beauty of nature. As you stare upon the lake, you can't help but discern a sense of calmness wash over you. The gentle and quiet ripples on the water's surface create a relaxing melody, inviting you to soak yourself in the peaceful atmosphere.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and Eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
ā¢ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
ā¢ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
ā¢ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
ā¢ The same procedure with the foreground.
ā¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā¢ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
