scene at the beach (miniature painting)

Every other week i do a miniature scenery painting and post about the process in a art blog so people can learn about how easy and fun painting is .

Materials im using are pretty affordable and easy to find . For my canvas i used a 4×6 cartridge paper . I taped it over a surface with masking tape . Im using acrylic colors and a fine liner brush with 2 flat brushes too .

So as the first step i took some white paint and some dark cobalt blue mixed it up into a sky like color and made a gradient with it on our canvas . Now in this same color i add a little drip of Green and mix it up into a beautiful sea green color now i make a horizon with the flat brush and filled the bottom half with the same color how ever i add some more green color and use my fine liner to just added some wavy details here and there then i do the same with white color and my fine liner brush .It will look like that sea foam that forms over waves .

Now i let the bottom sea dry and add some white clouds to the sky by dabbing a dry round brush and white paint . This technique is great to make textured clouds . Next i added some random rocks in the sea with a black color i use my flat brush to add some island like floating rocks here and there .

Now if we have rocks obviously we will shade them too so i start mixing brown and white and with a flat brush i blend the colors first then make some hard highlights over these rocks .

i remember seeing palm leaves last time when I visited the beach so i thought why not add some here .

A simple technique to make palm leaf is by Drawing and line and adding more lines to that line with green color like a feather i also shaded these leafs by applying some light green highlights . Next i added some more white sea foam to the rocks .

Now i removed the masking tape on all the edges and here is the final result . Tbh i really loved this painting its one of my fav one . That is all for today

Thank you for your precious time and support 🩷
