En esta oportunidad decidí dibujar a Loki personaje de Marvel de cual recientemente se estreno una serie. Si bien esta dinámica me cae como anillo al dedo porque mi especialidad es el realismo, lo difícil para mi fue terminarlo a tiempo ya que suelo tardarme mucho en estos dibujos.
This time I decided to draw Loki, a Marvel character of which recently a series was released. Although this dynamic fits me like a glove because my specialty is realism, the difficult thing for me was to finish it on time because I usually take a long time in these drawings.
PROCEDIMIENTO DE LA OBRA | MAKING THE PIECE
Comencé el boceto el día Lunes, yo utilizo el método de Loomis para hacer los bocetos luego borro todas las líneas guía y dejo un boceto limpio para comenzar a dar profundidad.
I started the sketch on Monday, I use the Loomis method for sketching then erase all the guide lines and leave a clean sketch to start giving depth.
En la foto de referencia Loki esta usando su armadura por lo que decidí empezar con el casco que es una de las partes mas oscuras del dibujo y que requirió mucho detalle para lograr el efecto de metal, utilice lápiz 3B Y 6B.
In the reference photo Loki is wearing his armor so I decided to start with the helmet which is one of the darkest parts of the drawing and required a lot of detail to achieve the metal effect, use 3B and 6B pencils.
Continúe dibujando los ojos, marque ligeramente la pupila para asegurar que las proporciones estuvieran bien y luego comencé a dar detalles en el lado izquierdo, siempre me gusta empezar mis dibujos por ese lado.
I continued to draw the eyes, lightly mark the pupil to make sure the proportions were right and then started to give details on the left side, I always like to start my drawings on that side.
Para hacer la piel use un lápiz 3H para las partes claras y lápiz HB para las zonas oscuras marcando suavemente por capas y usando el algodon para difuminar.
To make the skin use a 3H pencil for the light parts and HB pencil for the dark areas marking gently in layers and using the cotton to blend.
Finalmente hice el fondo con lápiz 3B difuminando con el algodón y agregue los detalles finales como marcar más las sombras y difuminar todo de nuevo para una piel mas suave.
Finally I did the background with 3B pencil blending with cotton and added the final details like highlighting the shadows more and blending everything again for a softer skin.
