RETRATO - ILUSTRACIÓN DIGITAL CON PHOTOSHOP [Esp/Eng]

Quiero compartir con ustedes en esta oportunidad esta ilustración que hice de un amigo de la infancia, conversando con él me dice que si le puedo hacer un dibujo de el negocio de comida que tiene en la ciudad donde vive. Me enseñó algunas fotos de sus platillos y le dije que vería que podía hacer por él.

GREETINGS FRIENDS LOVERS OF DRAWING, ILLUSTRATIONS AND ART IN GENERAL
I want to share with you this time this illustration that I made of a childhood friend, talking to him he tells me that if I can draw a picture of the food business he has in the city where he lives. He showed me some photos of his saucers and I told him I would see what I could do for him.

De las fotos que me envió no tomé ninguna, pero sí vi una en una de sus redes sociales que me llamó mucho la atención, se las muestro aquí a la izquierda de sus pantallas.

Apenas vi esta foto pensé: "aquí lo ideal es hacer una ilustración de esta foto, algo que quede como una caricatura".

Entonces comencé la aventura de hacer esta ilustración, saliendo un poco de mi zona de confort, pero teniendo muy claro cual era el resultado final que quería conseguir.

Of the photos he sent me, I did not take any, but I did see one on one of his social networks that caught my attention, I show them to you here on the left of your screens.

As soon as I saw this photo I thought: "here the ideal is to make an illustration of this photo, something that looks like a cartoon".

So I started the adventure of making this illustration, going out of my comfort zone, but having very clear what the final result I wanted to achieve was.

El boceto inicial:

Para esta ilustración trabajé todo en digital, aprovechando las bondades de trabajar con una tableta gráfica.

The initial sketch:
For this illustration I worked everything in digital, taking advantage of the benefits of working with a graphic tablet.

Recuerdo que mi amigo cuando estábamos en el liceo era el más fuerte de la clase, se la pasaba haciendo ejercicios y levantando pesas. Entonces quise hacerle un cuerpo mas o menos fornido para que recordara esos tiempos.

Ya en el segundo boceto (porque estamos trabajando en digital), hice un lineart (delineado) más definido y con mas detalle.

I remember that my friend when we were in high school was the strongest in the class, he spent his time exercising and lifting weights. So I wanted to make him a more or less robust body so that he would remember those times.

Already in the second sketch (because we are working in digital), I made a lineart (outlined) more defined and with more detail.

Segundo LineArt / Second LineArt:

En este segundo LineArt ya trabajamos con una línea un poco mas detallada y limpia, definiendo características propias del personaje.

In this second LineArt we are already working with a slightly more detailed and clean line, defining characteristics of the character.

El Coloreado en digital:

Les voy a contar (una vez más) como hago yo para aplicar los colores de manera digital: lo primero que hago es aplicar los colores bases a cada uno de los elementos que conforman el dibujo, y después en capas diferentes las sombras y las luces.

Colores bases: hago una capa para cada uno de los colores bases.

Todo esto obviamente dependerá de la complejidad del dibujo que estemos haciendo.

The coloring in digital:
I am going to tell you (once again) how I do to apply colors digitally: the first thing I do is apply the base colors to each of the elements that are part of the drawing, and then in different layers the shadows and the lights.

Base colors: I make a layer for each of the base colors.

All this will obviously depend on the complexity of the drawing that we are doing.

RESULTADO FINAL / Final Result

Para hacer esta ilustración invertí aproximadamente unas cuatro (04) horas, con algunas interrupciones menores.
