Today I decided to do a sketch of Lionel Messi after I had an argument with my friend earlier on, about his style of play. This led me to see some of his videos on YouTube and I was so amazed at his brilliant style of playing the ball and scoring goals. So I reached a conclusion that it won't be a bad idea to have his sketch on my blog.

I always start my sketches so far from the eyes down to the mouth but this one took a different step, which is from the mouth up to the eyes. My technique of shading was blended hatching and cross hatching methods and the image portrays his look in the field especially when he scores a goal.
