¡Saludos! En esta oportunidad me uno al concurso propuesto por Toys on Hive cuya finalidad es el diseño de su imagen de fondo, separadores y Banner de despedida, yo me atreví a realizar un par de estos le contare un poco acerca de cómo surgió la idea, mi intención era ambientar todo el diseño en una habitación con muchos juguetes y que el nombre de la comunidad estuviera escrita con ellos, por eso que mejor que los cubos de letras y para la palabra Hive opte por escribirla con un crayón rojo, dicho esto les mostrare el proceso.

Greetings! In this opportunity I join the contest proposed by Toys on Hive whose purpose is the design of its background image, separators and farewell banner, I dared to make a couple of these I will tell you a little about how the idea came up, my intention was to set the whole design in a room with many toys and the name of the community was written with them, so what better than the cubes of letters and for the word Hive chose to write it with a red crayon, that said I will show you the process.

Con el diseño de lo que quería en mente vi algunas imágenes de referencias de juguetes para dibujarlos en mi composición, hecho esto comencé dibujando los cubos de letras con los que escribiría la palabra “toys” en el centro del formato, para que se entorpeciera con nada, debajo de estas escribí el “on Hive” y para este último use un pincel texturizado para que pareciera escrito con crayón y dibuje el crayón rojo al final

Seguidamente comencé a dibujar el resto de los elementos que quería estuvieran presentes, por supuesto un oso Teddy no podía faltar, una cesta de juguetes, un trenecito y sus rieles, un caballito un balón y un avión de papel, en el boceto tenía otros juguetes, pero terminé descartándolos.

With the design of what I wanted in mind I saw some images of toy references to draw them in my composition, done this I started drawing the cubes of letters with which I would write the word "toys" in the center of the format, so that it would not get in the way with anything, below these I wrote the "on Hive" and for this last one I used a textured brush to make it look like it was written with crayon and drew the red crayon at the end.

Then I started to draw the rest of the elements that I wanted to be present, of course a Teddy bear could not be missing, a basket of toys, a little train and its rails, a little horse, a ball and a paper airplane, in the sketch I had other toys, but I ended up discarding them.

Con el boceto decido, comencé a añadir los colores al diseño, para los cubos de colores quería colores básicos ya que comúnmente son empleados para niños aún muy pequeños, el color de Hive rojo igual que el color presente en su logo, para el resto de los elementos escogi tambien colores pasteles porque me parecian mas adecuados para el diseño.

With the sketch decided, I started to add the colors to the design, for the color cubes I wanted basic colors as they are commonly used for children still very young, the color of Hive red as well as the color present in their logo, for the rest of the elements I also chose pastel colors because they seemed more suitable for the design.

Igualmente, para el fondo elegí colores bastante claros, un color marro non un ligero degradado horizontal en el suelo y blanco para las paredes, dibujo debajo del caballito de madera una colcha de un color rosado para darle un poco de color a esa área y para finalizar este diseño agregue algunas sombras en los objetos.

Likewise, for the background I chose quite light colors, a brown color without a slight horizontal gradient on the floor and white for the walls, I drew under the wooden horse a pink quilt to give a little color to that area and to finish this design I added some shadows on the objects.

Para el separado use igualmente las letras de Toys y la pegué en un archivo más pequeño y dibuje un patrón de cuadros en el fondo y a modo de decorativo pegue el avioncito de papel y dibuje una línea punteada que mostraba el recorrido que había hecho.

For the separate one I also used the letters of Toys and pasted it into a smaller file and drew a checkered pattern in the background and as a decoration I glued the paper airplane and drew a dotted line showing the route it had made.
