Hola a todos en Hive hoy quiero hablarles de un proyecto que hice junto a mi hermano, se trata de un dominó de madera, es una manera muy divertida de pasar el tiempo y podrás reutilizar retazos de madera que no utilices ya que es súper fácil y no se requieren demasiados materiales para llevarlo a cabo.

La primera parte de este proyecto fue realizada por mi hermano la cual consistía en medir los listones de madera, de manera que lograra conseguir 28 piezas de los retazos que teníamos, luego con una segueta se dispuso a cortar muy cautelosamente con la segueta por cada una de las marcas realizadas, completada esta primera parte se procedió a lijar cada una de las piezas por todos lados para lograr un acabado bien prolijo.
The first part of this project was carried out by my brother, which consisted of measuring the wooden slats, so that he managed to get 28 pieces of the scraps we had, then with a hacksaw he prepared to cut very cautiously with the hacksaw for each one. Of the marks made, once this first part was completed, each piece was sanded on all sides to achieve a neat finish.
Por una de las caras de la pieza se dibujó una línea y justo en el medio de dicha línea se clavó una tachuela, el objetivo de esta tachuela en el medio es para hacer que las piezas giren mucho más fácil en la superficie de la mesa y lograr revolverlas bien antes de repartir.
A line was drawn on one of the faces of the piece and a tack was nailed right in the middle of said line, the objective of this tack in the middle is to make the pieces rotate much easier on the table surface and manage to stir them well before distributing.
A continuación, se procedió a numerar cada una de las piezas dibujando con un lápiz, para posteriormente con una mecha de un taladro o algún objeto punzante hacer presión y girar sobre cada una de las marcas para crear las cuencas o si tienes un taladro también puedes emplearlo para este fin, solo que se debe ser muy precavido para no estropear la pieza.
Next, we proceeded to number each of the pieces by drawing with a pencil, and later with a wick from a drill or some pointed object to press and turn on each of the marks to create the sockets or if you have a drill you can also use it for this purpose, only you must be very careful not to damage the piece.
El siguiente paso para completar el juego de dominó es con el uso de un cautín dejarlo calentar lo suficiente y hacer presión en las cuentas de cada pieza y también sobre la línea del medio, se deben hacer movimientos repetitivos con el cautín hasta lograr que la madera se queme y se torne muy oscura, esto nos permitirá ver la cantidad de puntos más fácilmente.
The next step to complete the game of dominoes is with the use of a soldering iron let it heat up enough and press the beads of each piece and also on the middle line, you must make repetitive movements with the soldering iron until the wood burns and becomes very dark, this will allow us to see the number of points well more easily.
Y así se obtiene un juego de mesa divertido en el que puede participar toda la familia, como paso final se le puede aplicar una fina capa de barniz, aunque depende del gusto de cada quien.
Mi hermano como es un ser súper detallista y dedicado también hizo una caja para guardarlos y pues obviamente yo le contribuí dibujando con bajo relieve la letra D sobre la tapa.

Me divertí mucho en la realización de este domingo, fué un proyecto que involucro a toda la familia y fue genial repasar todo el proceso, todos en casa se encontrraban ansiosos por los resultados y hemos pasado gratos momentos jugando con ellos.
I had a lot of fun doing this Sunday, it was a project that involved the whole family and it was great to go over the whole process, everyone at home was eager for the results and we had a great time playing with them.
