Ayer mientras realizábamos las compras para la semana, cómo de costumbre, pasamos por el área de juguetería mi novia y yo para ver que novedades encontrábamos. Ya tenía varias semanas que no encontraba nada de Star Wars, que es, por lo general, de lo que más compro o me gusta. Así que, iba con las expectativas de no encontrar algo emocionante.
Yesterday while we were shopping for the week, as usual, my girlfriend and I stopped by the toy store to see what we could find. It had been several weeks since I had found anything Star Wars, which is usually what I buy or like the most. So, I went with the expectation that I wouldn't find anything exciting.
Para mi sorpresa, en esta ocasión encontramos unos Funko Pop!, relacionados con los artes conceptuales de algunos personajes de Star Wars. Mi novia me preguntó por qué tenían ese aspecto, a lo cual le comenté que, antes de que saliera la primera película de Star Wars en el 77. Hubo un artista que se encargó de realizar los bocetos de los personajes y de alguno escenarios.
To my surprise, this time, we found some Funko Pop! related to the concept art of some Star Wars characters. My girlfriend asked me why they looked like that, to which I told her that, before the first Star Wars movie came out in 77, there was an artist who was in charge of making the sketches of the characters and some scenarios.

Hablando del Funko, obviamente, podemos ver que se trata de Yoda, pero con un aspecto más como de duende, con cabellera larga y arrugas más remarcadas. Si lo comparamos, con el personaje que conocemos de las películas, definitivamente este concepto siento que no hubiese encajado mucho que digamos. Lo único que veo que rescataron, fue el uso del bastón.
Talking about the Funko, obviously, we can see that this is Yoda, but with a more goblin-like appearance, with long hair and more pronounced wrinkles. If we compare it with the character we know from the movies, I definitely feel that this concept would not have fit much to say. The only thing I see that they rescued was the use of the cane.
En la parte posterior de la caja, se pueden observar los otros personajes que conforman la serie del arte conceptual y la imagen del boceto original realizado por McQuarrie, el cual, desde mi perspectiva, le da un toque siniestro.
On the back of the box, you can see the other characters that make up the concept art series and the image of the original sketch made by McQuarrie, which, from my perspective, gives it a sinister touch.
No soy de coleccionar Funkos (tengo algunos), pero me gustó tener uno referente a esos conceptos originales, además, definitivamente no le iba a decir que no a mi novia cuando se ofreció a comprármelo, le agradezco mucho el detalle <3.
I'm not one to collect Funkos (I have some), but I liked having one referring to those original concepts. Besides, I definitely wasn't going to say no to my girlfriend when she offered to buy it for me. I'm very grateful for the detail <3.
Así que se une a la colección de artículos de esta maravillosa saga. Este sería el octavo Funko que tengo de Star Wars, y me gustaría conseguir algunos otros. Primero, completar esta serie, que la verdad, se me hace genial, y después ir consiguiendo algunos selectos de mi agrado.
So it joins the collection of items from this wonderful saga. This would be the eighth Funko I have from Star Wars, and I would like to get some others. First, to complete this series, the truth is excellent for me, and then go getting some of my likings.
