Happy start of the week to everyone! Greetings to all members of the #ToyOnHive community as this is my first time sharing something in this community.

Today I would like to join the contest that is being carried out from #ToyOnHive which I met thanks to the participation of my dear @yolimarag who with her participation transmitted me the enthusiasm with which I find myself here today.

I have beautiful memories of my childhood, and many of them involved many toys with which I spent hours having fun as well as playing games, which I almost always did together with my cousins and childhood friends.

De mi infancia guardo hermosos recuerdos, y en muchos de ellos habían involucrados muchos juguetes con los que pasaba horas divirtiéndome al igual que con los juegos, lo que casi siempre realizaba acompañado junto a mis primos y compañeros de infancia.

I feel extremely happy about the childhood I had since it allowed me to be the person I am today. During this stage of my life I learned to see life with eyes of love and compassion, to feel things through the kindness received and also given. That's why today I want to share with you those things that made me so happy during my childhood.

Me siento sumamente feliz de la infancia que tuve ya que me permitió ser la persona que hoy soy. Durante esta etapa de mi vida aprendí a ver la vida con ojos de amor y compasión, a sentir las cosas a través de la bondad recibida y también dada. Por todo eso hoy quiero compartirles esas cosas que me hicieron tan feliz durante mi niñez.

Since I was very little I felt great empathy for animals, I always liked them, so my mandatory toys at the time of any game were my animals. Every time my mom gave me a toy animal I became the happiest kid in the world and I took it everywhere.

Desde muy pequeño sentí gran empatía por los animales, siempre me gustaron, por lo que mis juguetes obligatorios a la hora de cualquier juego eran mis animales. Cada vez que mi mamá me regalaba un animal de juguete yo me convertía en el niño más feliz del mundo y lo llevaba por todos lados.

I remember that I loved to create improvised farms for my animals, and sometimes I used them all even if they were not common to each other (horses with dinosaurs and wolves with lions, etc). At other times my animals played the role of superheroes where they were the typical villains against the heroes.

Recuerdo que me encantaba crear granjas improvisadas para mis animales, y a veces los usaba todos aunque estos no fuesen comunes entre sí (caballos con dinosaurios y lobos con leones, etc). En otras ocasiones mis animales hacían el papel de superhéroes donde estaban los típicos villanos contra los héroes.

Thanks to my toy animals my true love for real life animals was born, my fascination for animal life increased by being surrounded by these toys, incredibly all that led me to define since I was a child what I wanted for my life, to be a veterinarian.

Gracias a mis animales de juguetes nació mi verdadero amor los animales de la vida real, mi fascinación por la vida animal aumentó por estar rodeado de estos juguetes, increíblemente todo eso me llevó a definir desde muy niño que era lo quería para mi vida, ser veterinario.

I loved these toys so much that even today I keep some of the ones I used as a child.💙

Other of my favorite toys were cars and action figures, like superheroes and others. After animals, cars were my favorite toys to play with no matter what size or type they were, I simply liked them. I remember that at Christmas when I had to write my letter to Baby Jesus (the equivalent of Santa Claus) I always asked him for my animals and some toy cars.

Otros de mis juguetes favoritos eran los carros y las figuras de acción, como superhéroes y otros. Después de los animales los carros eran mis juguetes favoritos a la hora de jugar sin importar el tamaño o el tipo que fueran simplemente me gustaban, recuerdo que en Navidad cuando me tocaba escribir la carta para El Niño Jesús (el equivalente a Santa Claus) siempre le pedía mis animales y unos carros de juguete.

Among my favorite games were the ones that required several players, which were usually my cousins. I remember that as a child I enjoyed playing outdoors, so perhaps these were my favorite games:

Where I grew up was a place with a lot of outdoor space so I played hide and seek with my cousins and some neighbor kids, we would spend hours hiding behind a tree, or in a winding terrain. None of us liked to be in the role of the one looking for the others as it took long periods of time before we found each other.

Donde transcurrió mi infancia era un lugar con mucho espacio al aire libre por lo que jugaba a las escondidas con mis primos y algunos niños vecinos, pasábamos horas escondiéndonos detrás de un árbol, o en un terreno sinuoso. A ninguno nos gustaba estar en el papel del que busca a los otros ya que pasaban largos ratos antes de encontrarnos.

Los juegos con pelotas.

Within these games I include several since the games we played with our balls were varied. Sometimes we played "pelotica de goma", a popular variant of baseball. Other times we played kickingball or simply street baseball or even soccer, the truth is that there was almost always a ball involved in our games.

Dentro de estos juegos incluyo varios ya que eran variados los juegos que hacíamos con nuestras pelotas. A veces jugábamos “pelotica de goma”, una variante popular del beisbol. Otras veces jugábamos al kikimbol o simplemente al beisbol callejero o incluso al futbol, lo cierto es casi siempre había una pelota involucrada en nuestros juegos.
