Hola gente bonita, hoy se me ocurrió un post para esta linda comunidad sobre juguetes y recuerdos inigualables de nuestra infancia, hoy quiero hablar de uno que luché mucho por tener y ame con todo mi corazón: el Tamagotchi.
Hello beautiful people, today I came up with a post for this nice community about toys and incomparable memories of our childhood, today I want to talk about one that I fought a lot to have and loved with all my heart: the Tamagotchi.
Para quien no lo reconoce o no llegó a tener uno esta es una mascota virtual portátil, viene en forma de huevo y trae dentro una mascota que va creciendo y debes cuidar entretener para lograr evolucionarla y hasta tal vez reproducirla. Hablo de mi época de tamagotchis (2006 por allí) que la pantalla era blanco y negro pixelada, no se si hoy en día tiene muchos más colores jaja.
For those who do not recognize it or did not get to have one, this is a portable virtual pet, it comes in the form of an egg and brings inside a pet that grows and you must take care to entertain it to evolve it and maybe even reproduce it. I'm talking about my tamagotchis time (2006 around there) that the screen was black and white pixelated, I do not know if today has many more colors haha.
Hoy les quiero contar que este a sido el juguete que más desee tener en mi vida, al punto de llorar por no tenerlo pues, de verdad se volvió tan popular que yo notaba como todos mis compañeros en mi colegio tenían uno, no importa si eras niña o niño, tenías un tamagotchi y obviamente como me los prestaban un poco y veía una gran variedad de ellos yo quería uno. Recuerdo que se estaba acercando navidad 24 de diciembre y yo escribí en mi carta para el niño Jesús (o santa claus) rogando por un tamagotchi, pedía otras cosas pero lo más importante era ese pues de verdad quería uno, quería unirme al clan de tener un tamagotchi porque también, NO LES CONTÉ, podías conectar una mascota con otra de algún amigo o si tenias dos, para así se visitaran, jugaran y tal vez se enamoraran y reprodujeran.
Today I want to tell you that this has been the toy I most wanted to have in my life, to the point of crying for not having it, it really became so popular that I noticed how all my classmates in my school had one, no matter if you were a girl or a boy, you had a tamagotchi and obviously as I borrowed them a little and saw a great variety of them I wanted one. I remember that Christmas was approaching December 24th and I wrote in my letter to the baby Jesus (or Santa Claus) begging for a tamagotchi, I asked for other things but the most important thing was that I really wanted one, I wanted to join the clan of having a tamagotchi because also, I did not tell you, you could connect a pet with a friend's pet or if you had two, so they could visit each other, play and maybe fall in love and reproduce.
Entusiasmada porque llegara el momento de abrir los regalos casi ni pude dormir hasta que llegó, los abrí todos y ya cuando quedaba un último que no era tan grande me emocioné, yo sentía que ya lo tenía en mis manos, mi mascota virtual, mi gran juguete para poder divertirme y compartir... Y TADAAAAA NO ME LO DIERON JAJAJA. Si me dieron una mascota de juguete que fue lo divertido, pero me dieron fue otro juguete que se trataba de una capsula llena de agua con una mascotica tierna flotando dentro de ella y solo había dos botones uno para "alimentar" y otro para "jugar" JAJAJA era de lo más simple pero bonito. Me puse muy triste, quería era un Tamagotchi y aún nada que lo iba a tener pero me divertí con mi otra mascota.
Excited because it was time to open the gifts I could hardly sleep until it arrived, I opened them all and when the last one was not so big I got excited, I felt that I had it in my hands, my virtual pet, my great toy to have fun and share.... AND THEY DIDN'T GIVE IT TO ME HAHAHA. They did give me a toy pet which was the fun part, but they gave me another toy that was a capsule full of water with a cute pet floating inside it and there were only two buttons, one to "feed" and one to "play" HAHAHAHA it was simple but cute. I was very sad, I wanted a Tamagotchi and still nothing that I was going to have but I had fun with my other pet.
Lo malo de esos juguetes con agua encerrada es que cuando se ensucian no hay vuelta atrás, no es como una pecera que luego puedes cambiarle el agua no... si quieres hacer eso hay que partir el juguete y ya no hay arreglo JAJAJA. Recuerdo que en San Antonio existía una tienda GIGANTE, de juguetes que también fue transformándose en papelería. Les cuento esto porque esa era mi excusa perfecta para pedir un juguete, casi nunca lo lograba pero esta vez estaba en modo PROTESTA ¡QUIERO MI TAMAGOTCHI VALE!, y como aún no empezaba clases íbamos a comprar algunos útiles escolares y siempre me acercaba a los juguetes a ver que tal... PUES ESA VEZ FUIMOS Y PEDÍ MI TAMAGOTCHI COMO JAMÁS PEDÍ ALGO EN MI VIDA JAJAJA.
The bad thing about those toys with enclosed water is that when they get dirty there is no way back, it's not like a fish tank that you can change the water later... if you want to do that you have to break the toy and there is no fix HAHAHAHAHA. I remember that in San Antonio there was a GIANT toy store that was also transformed into a stationery store. I tell you this because that was my perfect excuse to ask for a toy, I almost never succeeded but this time I was in PROTEST mode, I WANT MY TAMAGOTCHI VALE!, and as school was not yet starting we went to buy some school supplies and I always approached the toys to see what was going on... WELL THAT TIME WE WENT AND I ASKED FOR MY TAMAGOTCHI AS I NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING IN MY LIFE HAHAHA.
Agarré a mi papá y le señale donde estaban, les dije todo lo que podía hacer con ellos, le explique que el niño Jesús jamás me lo regalo y YO SE LO PEDÍ CON TODO EL CORAZÓN, recuerdo que le dije algo así que si me lo compraba salvaba mi navidad JAJAJAJA. PUES LO LOGRÉ, después de tanto rogar y rogar PUDE ELEGIR MI TAMAGOTCHI.
I grabbed my dad and showed him where they were, I told them everything I could do with them, I explained to him that the baby Jesus never gave it to me and I ASKED HIM WITH ALL MY HEART, I remember I told him something like this that if he bought it for me he would save my Christmas HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I did it, after so much begging and begging I was able to choose my TAMAGOTCHI.
Algo gracioso es que en realidad solo pude compartir con un solo amigo y ver que conviviera con otra mascota, pero luego de eso éramos él y yo solos Y COMO ME DIVERTÍ JUGANDOLO. Recuerdo que tuve esa mascota hasta que su batería murió por completo, usaba baterías de reloj, es decir que tenían una forma redonda y eran más caras que las normales así que jamás las pude cambiar, allí si no insistí jajaja.
Something funny is that actually I could only share with a single friend and see that he lived with another pet, but after that it was just him and me, AND HOW MUCH FUN I HAD PLAYING IT. I remember that I had that pet until its battery died completely, it used watch batteries, that is to say that they had a round shape and they were more expensive than the normal ones so I could never change them, there if I didn't insist hahaha.
De verdad que ame mucho ese juguete, me preocupé muchísimo por él y aprendí tanto que llegue a tener otra parecida llamada Pixel Chix, este ya era una casa con una chica virtual dentro que si comprabas muchos podías tener todo un apartamento lleno de chicas y mascoticas a las cuales cuidar JAJAJA pero ese juguete tiene otra historia interesante para otro post.
I really loved that toy, I cared a lot about it and I learned so much that I got to have another similar one called Pixel Chix, this was already a house with a virtual girl inside that if you bought many you could have a whole apartment full of girls and pets to take care of HAHAHAHA but that toy has another interesting story for another post.
Eso es todo por hoy ¿Moraleja? NO SE RINDAN Y PIDAN SU JUGUETE, y que felicidad me trajo ese juguete a mi porque me enseño un poquito ese amor y preocupación por cuidar una mascota. Espero les haya gustado y entretenido el post jeje pues yo amo contar estas historias.
