We are constantly purchasing toy collections from folks at our shop. It’s a weakness in that I have a hard time saying no...and a strength in that it allows for us to have a steady flow of new tastiness pouring in.
Even tiny collection like this make a difference. This gentleman brought one box with 18 randoms action figures ranging from a few Marvel figures to a bunch of Star Wars stuff. All from the 90’s. This stuff here does not bring in the big bucks, but I am a bit low on my Star Wars 3 3/4 figures so any new addition is welcome.
Plus I weirdly had a total of ZERO Ghost Rider figures in stock at present, so I know that movie version will move immediately. Also...that Chyna figure....c’mon...
The gentleman and I agreed upon the low low price of $30 beans for this batch. It’s a lot of random mishmosh, but I’ll break even on the Ghost Rider alone this week which means the rest is just gravy that can trickle out over time.
If everything here sells, I’d expect it to bring in over $250 easily. Once again, not getting rich...but it helps build inventory on lines that I am currently lacking in, on the cheap.
Best part about this deal is that this is hopefully the first of many with the gentleman as he claims to have a storage unit with near 50 boxes of random assorted toys from the sane timeframe.
I’m hoping for some more 3 3/4 Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, and Kenner Batman the Animate Series as my section for those have been dwindling by the day. 🤞
