Life has a way of burrowing itself into our skin. Time would just tell when one thinks that one has got the hang of things in life only for things to happen to upset that understanding. Life can be humourous in that aspect. This I have realized about life, and it is this: Life has one simple law – and that is, life adjusts to pressure
I have come to understand one thing about life and that is, life responds to pressure. Sometimes we gaze at how others are having it good, and sometimes we just lose track of the journey. We start chasing shadows, questioning why we are not making progress. It is quite straightforward; we focus on the minor aspects while the minor ones revolve around the major aspects. It is so unreasonable to continue running other people’s race while we neglect our own.
This unveils that life will either shower you with good things or hide you from them. One should not pay attention to what people have to say about him/ her but rather focus on what one has to say when people are done talking.
You are here for such a time as this. DO NOT expect life to be perfect as there will always be a storm somewhere. There will be times when you will stumble and fall and you need to embrace that and prepare for it. In what other way do you suppose the gold come forth? It is also unique in the sense that after passing through several processes, it comes out as pure and in a solid state.
What would the world miss if you were not born? This is a question we need to ask ourselves so that we can be up and doing.
Many individuals get to a certain level of success and they settle there, lack of understanding that what they consider a success today is definitely a failure tomorrow. Everyone has a why and until the why is discovered, there is likelihood that the how will never be found.
Why were you created? What problem have you come to solve? The challenge of not asking ‘why’ began from a very young age when people asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” instead of asking, “What need of society would you like to fulfill when you grow up?” We have been trained to survive instead of making our marks in the sand of time.
There has to be a change and I want to tell you that you are here for a time like this. If there is a particular problem you are seeing which others are not, it is simply because you are the one to solve it.
It is your purpose to be of value. You are here to do what others cannot do, to ease the sufferings of those around you. The lesson here is that life pays hard working people and when we know that the main aim of our actions is to provide a solution not a chaos, then we have the motivation. And if you have not discovered what gets you going then maybe it is because you have not realized what role you are playing yet.
You are here for such a time as this when everything is not working, where most things seem broken, when betrayal is on the high and loyalty has been locked to the curb.
This is why you are here in this life, on this side of the world because there are questions that the world needs answers to, and only you have. Learn not to die with dreams and goals unfulfilled and no problems solved. I know it might not be easy, but it certainly would be worth it.
Others may ask, “What if the plan fails?” I respond by saying “What if the plan succeeds?”
We never can know until we try.
