This is not the first time Indonesian travelers got a very bad highlight in a foreign country when they do shits while traveling. It is very embarrassing since they think they have the money here, and mostly they can do as they please, they can also do that in a foreign country. I am not saying it is all of them, but always those that got highlighted are those doing the bad thing, bringing the bad name to the country.
The first one, was when a controversial influencer recorded a couple on the train doing some adult thing, and then shared it on the internet, which I think without their consent. Over here, some stupid influencers will never think to care about others privacy, especially in public where they will recond and post whenever and how ever they please, but in Japan things are different, and they keep their privacy at their highest stake. That influencer got a lit of backlash, even from Japanese netizens who demanded she be caught, and banned from entering Japan again.
The latest was when a group of adult Indonesian travelers, ruin the cherry blossom flowers on the recent flower season in Japan. Cherry blossom season is very highly valued by the Japanese, and it is one of their main attraction for the local as well as the foreigner, and they will certainly give a good care of them. they will only admire the flowers, and will never touch, pick, or destroy them just for the sake of cool photos. But those Indonesian travellers, seems to forget to bring their brain while travelling, and all they did was to ruin those flowers just to get a photo.
I guess a quick check on what to do and what not to do is not as difficult as selecting the airplane ticket to japan, which they failed to do since they seem to don't have any brain to know that kind of thing. What an embarrassment!!!
