How did it all start?
The beginning of my love for #bees was the day when a friend called me and said in my yard there was a swarm of bees on one of the trees!
Come and if you can take them off the tree ...
That's how I got my first bee #family!
I applied a technique described to me by another fellow beekeeper. Which definitely worked. The #bees entered their new home in about 15-20 minutes.
The next challenge was to put them in a comfortable home.
The next challenge was to put them in a comfortable home.
On the ceiling in my house I had a lot of old wood for which I was looking for an application, because I needed the space it occupied.
I decided to borrow it and use it to make #beehives ... I didn't know that there would be 40 of them.
I turned to the information on the web and came across this ..
I started making the buildings in a local workshop. Owned by an acquaintance of mine. Whoever told me use the workshop and do what you need.
Things were going well and I made a lot of blanks for assembling the hives.
Unfortunately during the process the knife of one of the machines decided to touch my finger ... which turned out to be a little worse than it looked ..!
After that moment I was a little disappointed and I thought why something like this would happen to me, after I did everything with such great desire ..?!
However, I wanted to finish what I started!
Not long after, my finger got better and I resumed my activity by making my so valuable beehives ...!
After some time, the first ready-made #beehives started coming out of the workshop ...
It made me feel amazing!
Little by little, #mylove @lifetravelling and I made this dream come true. To create homes for them and live with these amazing creatures. #Bees
We bought an amazing property near a small lake. We were lucky to get it at a low price and we already had our #ranch.
So I started raising about 20 bee families. Working and caring for them made me look at things differently. The direct connection to these amazing insects and the opportunity to be so close to what they do was unique.
The first harvests of nice real pure honey have come!
It was very tasty and interesting ... definitely different from the one in the shops we were used to eating.
My observations definitely proved to me how bees work together. I studied their way of life and realized how much they do for us in their quest to survive.
They deserve the support and special treatment of us humans.
