There lived fifteen friends in Sarajevo. They eat together sometimes. They play together, went to the Cinema together. And protect one another from external aggression. Linda was a glutton, Zachaeus was a drunkard, Anatasha was an arrogant someone, Solomon was a philanderer, Ada was a spendrift, Samson was bully, Magdalene was talkatrine, Isaac was an adventurer, he love taken nit, Latifat was a stingy fellow, Jude a gambler, shasha a greedy person, kane a merciless being who does not forgive. He believed in vengeance.
Elizabeth a nymphomaniac, Iscariot a thief and Lola the coward.
They were poor. They managed to eat three meals per day. They always wore worn out cloth which neighbours gifted them.
Despite their pitiful life, they are always happy because they believed they would be rich one day. The believed they would come across their fluke one day.
One day the fifteen friends were returning from a football match, they were arguing along their way when Lola’s leg struck an hard object on the ground. She screamed and the rest of them tried to look out what it was. So they dogged it out and it was a iron box full of money, they dragged it heavily to their house were they kept.
“We are going to share it first thing tomorrow morning” They all agreed.
Iscariot sneaked out of his room and went into the place where the money was kept. His intention was to steal the whole money. However he was caught by zacheus and Jude who kept awake all night securing the fluke. Unfortunately Iscariot was killed and buried in a shallow grave nearby.
The remaining fourteen friends shared the huge amount of money and went on their separate ways.
Linda had no idea on what to do with the money other than eating and sleeping all day. She soon became Obese and she developed diabetes and heart diseases which led to her death.
Zacheus drinks two bottles of beer per day before he became rich. However he increased it to ten bottles per day. Most times he became drunk and slept in the bar. One evening Zacheus drank a lot to the extent that he slept on the highway where he was crushed to death by a speedy car.
Anatasha arrogance became unbearable by everyone even the authority found it irritating.
“I am above the law. I am rich, she always say to herself."
She was chased out of the town when her was unbearable and she was forced to live in another city were she maimed one of the king’s messengers when she was summoned to court over the offence she committed.
Unfortunately she was killed as the king and his man went for a reprisal attack.
Solomon spent his money on women. And nothing else. He always passed the night with women sleeping on both sides of him on his bed. Some of these women are married. Their husband became Solomon’s foes.
He contacted STDs and he visited the hospital for treatment. He spent much of his riches here. After several day he was discharged from the hospital hardly had he left the hospital when the husbands of the women he had been sleeping with chased him.
“That is him! Get the womanizer." They shouted at him as they chased him.
Finally they caught him and clubbed him to death.
Ada moved from one mall to another shopping and spending on other shoppers. She walked down any shopping mall with ego. She spends extravagantly. Among those she spent her money on are kidnappers who noticed her change in her financial status.
“ Is this not Ada we know, who hardly eat a meal a day.”
“She must have hit a wealth somewhere”
Soon she was kidnapped for a ransom. Ada had spent almost all her share. Only a fraction of her share remained. She had almost nothing to pay for her freedom.
When it was obvious that she could not pay for the ransom, the kidnappers thought she was lying to them, so they brutally killed her and sold out her organs.
Samson became bullier than ever as soon as he became rich. He bullied everyone that come on his way. He met his waterloo when he was shot dead by a member of deadly gang in the neighbourhood whom he bullied with his wealth.
Magdalene talks took much she hardly keep a secret. She says everything she sees, felts or hears. She keeps friends a lot. One day she was having fun with her friends in the beach where she was engaged in a discussion.
She deliberately told them the source of her wealth, how huge it was and where she kept the money.
Unknowingly to her there were robbers around her that were listening to her. The following night they stormed her home with mask on their faces. She was mistakenly killed as she was trying to protect her money.
Isaac travels a lot, He moved from one country to another both on air and sea. He went far and wide with his money. He visited many different countries, people and cultures.
Unfortunately Isaac travelled to an Isolated island full of pirates. Unaware to him it was a resting place for pirates. He died of stray bullet during a gun battle between the two factions of the pirates.
Latifat found it difficult to spend her money. She frequently changed the hiding place of her money. She wakes up everytime at night whenever a bird sings. She does not want to spend a dine of her money so she had no friend neither relative. One day she hid the money under her bed and travelled for an emergency call. When she came back, behold! rat had eaten up all the money.
“Oh I have lost all I have in life!” she exclaimed and dashed into the inner room where she hung herself.
After she had gotten her own share shasha wanted to increase her money overnight. So she met Jude the gambler.
“how can I double my share I want to be a millionaire. “she inquired.
“Hmm, stake your money in the next casino and you will have it doubled or even tripled. I am a good gambler” He boasted.
“Really!”
“Yes.”
She greedily gave him all her money which he staked in the casino but luck ran against him and he lost all the money.
With rage shasha attacked him but he overpowered her and he unintentionally killed her as she hit head on a point hook in the window.
Jude fled the scene with a wound he sustained from the police as they shoot at him. He finally died from excess bleeding.
Kane always boast of destroying his enemies when he was poor. As soon as he became rich, he brought a sheet of paper and made a list of offenders. Then he hired assassians and thugs. Whom he used in attacking his past offenders. These made him to have more foes who latter crushed him to death with a collective strength.
In other to satisfy her uncontrollable sexual urge, Elizabeth hired hefty men into her house.
She did nothing again all to have sex and get those massage her body all day long. One day, these men came together and made an plan against her. They robbed her of her wealth and strangled her to death.
Lola was a coward among the all. She cried at a sight of scorpion having been wealthy her fear of being attacked by robbers increased. So she hire security mens. They guarded her at home and wherever she goes. These men were not enough for her, then she bought a leopard and lion to supplement her security.
One unfortunately day she left home to visit a friend in the next town where she spent days. Her workers forgot to feed the animals. As she returned from her trip, the hungry beasts pounce on her and guards and devoured them all.
