Forging Profits and Improving Deck (F2P)

Yesterday I started exploring the Forge 2.0, and I wanted to share with you guys some very exciting things that you can do to profit with Forge, or to use it to improve your decks.

Firstly and most importantly we have to talk about the tools we're going to use, and Immutable X marketplace isn't one of them.

Token Trove

If you take a look at the Immutable X marketplace for Gods Unchained, what you will face is something that looks like this.

You have decent filters to use to look for cards. You can see them by price, mana, rarity, even currency listed, and in general you can't complain much about the filters, but the experience on Immutable X is not very smooth.

If you go to an individual card, the screen you'll get will offer you nothing but the price of the card.

We must not be upset since we have a better alternative, Token Trove. Token Trove is an Immutable X marketplace just as well, so any assets listed on Immutable X are listed on Token Trove. If you take a look at their home page, you can see that things are a lot clearer and by browsing you can feel it smoother as well.

If you browse into the Gods Unchained page on Token Trove, it will present your collection with its respective value at the current market price.

The cards here are smaller, and the sidebars a lot smaller too, and as consequence more cards are presented at the same time for you to look at. Scrolling is smoother, and you can use filters more quickly than on Immutable X as well.

If you click on an individual card, instead of nothing, Token Trove shows you this.

The cheer range of information that it displays for you is amazing, and many of them are really important when looking into the market. You can the number of cards owned, all listing prices and historical data of both prices and volume, and all that with a smooth transition without changing you into another page like what Immutable X does.

If you're thinking about Forging cards to sell, buying cards in the market, or doing any trades whatsoever in the Immutable X marketplace, I would do it on Token Trove and I'm sure you guys will gain a lot of time and money that you could have otherwise lose by using Immutable X.

Forging Profits

So now that we have a good tool to research the markets, let's talk about how to use that to make some money.

In the Forging process you'll be using some of your $GODS tokens, and they have been fluctuating between $6~7 for the last days, so we have to always take that into account. For example, when forging a Legendary you'll use 1.5 GODS, so if you wanna profit over the cost of process, you'll have to sell that card for over 1.5 x $7 (let's take the higher price of GODS) = $10.5

Yesterday I sold a Managarmr, Moon Hound for ~$30 or so, and all that I spent was the 1.5 GODS token.

You can browse on the market by rarity and browse on your forge in game as well, and if you find any cards that you don't mind selling and that by selling you're going to make some profit, I'd be happy to do that.

A quick remainder that all ETH or any other currency that you'll gain by selling will go to your Immutable X Wallet, so always consider the amount of money that you'll have to lose to transfer that out of Immutable X as well, if that is what you intend to do.

Improving your Decks on Budget

Taking profits is always nice and all, but if you're here for the long run and want to give a boost to your performance in the Weekend Event and the Blessing of the Gods, you might wanna try using the funds you just got by selling your forged cards to improve your deck.

Many good cards are being sold for very little in the market, and there are lots of ways to make a budget strong deck to play Gods Unchained.

Mr. @copperpitch has posted a great example of a Budget War Deck, and you should definitely check it out.

If you don't dig war, try out this one and make sure to drop some love to Copperpitch, the dude's work is solid.
