In 2022, I began to learn more (although I know little) about web 3.0 and discovered, through my friend Vlad, about cryptocurrencies, DAOs, the Skate Hive, Nouns, and Gnars communities.
Then one day, I had the idea to turn the Nouns logo into a skateable sculpture, and in just one night alone at home, on my computer, smoking a joint, drinking wine, and listening to rock and roll, the idea magically, but not so quickly, took shape in Sketchup.
After that, I showed it to Vlad and the members of Coletivo XV, and everyone loved it. At the time, we were seeking funding for the I Love XV event in Rio de Janeiro, and one of the attempts was through a proposal in Nouns. "The Opstacle" (the 3D Noggles) was the differentiator that helped our proposal get approved, and I Love XV 2022 happened.
However, I had no idea that after the event, the inauguration of the sculpture, all the tricks, and the wonderful party that took place, the opstacle would become so famous and celebrated among members of web 3.0 communities worldwide.
So this post is a thank you to every person who is part of this decentralized universe and believes that the digital and real world can be built by everyone in a more anarchist and horizontal way, creating alternatives to what is offered by mainstream, big tech, and the status quo. Thank you very much!!!

Em 2022, comecei a aprender mais (ainda que saiba pouco) sobre a web 3.0 e descobri, através do meu amigo Vlad, sobre criptomoedas, DAOs, as comunidades da Skate Hive, Nouns e Gnars.
Então um dia tive a ideia de transformar o logotipo da Nouns em uma escultura skatável e em apenas uma noite sozinho em casa, no meu computador, fumando um baseado, bebendo vinho e ouvindo rock and roll, a ideia magicamente, mas não tão rapidamente, tomou forma no Sketchup.
Depois disso mostrei para o Vlad e para os membros do Coletivo XV, todos amaram. Na época estávamos correndo atrás de financiamento para o evento do I Love XV no Rio de Janeiro e uma das tentativas seria através de uma proposta na Nouns e "The Opstacle" (the 3D Noggles) foi o diferencial para que conseguíssemos que nossa proposta fosse aprovada e o I Love XV 2022 acontecesse.
Porém eu não tinha ideia que após o evento, a inauguração da escultura e todas as manobras e a festa maravilhosa que rolou, the opstacle ficaria tão famoso e celebrado entre os membros das comunidades da web 3.0 ao redor do mundo todo.
Então esse post é uma forma de agradecimento a cada pessoa que faz parte desse universo descentralizado e que acredita que o mundo, digital e real, pode ser construído por todos de forma mais anarquista e horizontal, criando alternativas ao que é oferecido pelo mainstream, as big techs e o estatus quo.
