Dr. Who Worlds Apart is positioned to be a massive success. This makes it's experimental economy all the more interesting.

Dr Who: Worlds Apart describes itself as "a digital trading card game that allows players to collect and trade their favorite characters, objects and moments from Doctor Who". While Dr Who has never been one of the science fiction properties with special importance to me my love of trading cards games and crypto-gaming means I'll be jumping in with both feet on day 1.

Scratch that, when have you even known me to wait for the first day of something? Truth be told I've owned a variety of Dr Who assets for months and have been waiting for this games eventual launch with bated breath all year. Why?

Well, the Dr. Who Fandom of course.

While Dr. Who isn't my jam I know that to millions of people worldwide it's an absolute obsession. These legions of fans, along with the games official connection to the BBC, all but guarantee that this game is going to be a massive rip-roaring success just as soon as it's playable.

Hell, the games not even out yet and it's already sold millions of dollars in pre-constructed decks, packs, and the games currency Pendaks!

A lot pf these assets are being kept quite rare and, if you feel like you missed the board on Splinterlands and are wanting to get in on a game where an early investment may pay off well there are few more sure bets than Dr Who. You'll want to familiarize yourself with the quirks of this unique and interesting game first though!

Dr Who: Worlds Apart is making more card variety than we have ever seen in any game before by having over 12+ different card frames that a card can spawn with depending on where you open it. You can read all about that here:

My first question here has always been "How are they going to make the market usable with this much card variation" followed quickly by "Is this just going to blow up in their face?". As months have gone by I've wondered less about both of these and worried about the second less and less.

What I see as the more realistic thing is that cards with matching thematic frames will go for a huge premium from the whales in this game possibly creating a hyper-premium market of some of the most rare items we've seen since CS:GO.

I wonder about the cards below, which may only really be got at this time by buying the current pre-constructed theme decks, or rather: I wonder about their frames. I'm not wondering "What are the chances that the best and most rare cyberman cards with the best and most rare cyberman frames will become crazy pricey?" I'm wondering how anything else could possibly happen.

And then I'm finding myself wondering that for every single faction.

Cybermen.

Weeping Angels.

Daleks.

Even the Doctors.

Does anyone expect ay of these cards too fail? I sure don't. There are just too many fans who are obsessed with this show and way too much money in the BBC coffers to let that happen.

So, what does that mean?

Ladies and gentleman, in my mind it mean's that Dr Who: Worlds Apart is an all but guaranteed success. If you have a little extra scratch and want to acquire some cryptogaming NFTs that are sure to have a really bright future it feels like there are few safer bets than investing in Dr Who: Worlds Apart!
