Pero, aunque suene trillado, todo debe continuar. Así que es hora de hablar de todos los outfits que llevaron los famosos, a la que debo decir fue una de las más extrañas ceremonias que he visto de los Grammy. En primer lugar, estos premios han perdido mucho del brillo que antes tenían, pero una alfombra es una alfombra y siempre nos va a dar tela que cortar. But, as trite as it sounds, everything must go on. So it's time to talk about all the outfits the celebrities wore to what I must say was one of the strangest Grammy ceremonies I've ever seen. First of all, these awards have lost a lot of the luster they once had, but a carpet is a carpet and it's always going to give us fabric to cut. One that never fails in Versace was Doja Cat who walked the red carpet in a black dress that she paired with gloves and styling that reminded me of Liza Minelli. I didn't love this dress, in my opinion it looks like a garbage bag.

Taylor Swift por su parte, se decantó por un Roberto Cavalli de un color que te mueres. Amé más el color que el estilismo de Taylor, que nunca me ha parecido una referente de la moda, pero que cumple perfecto con este vestido en un “amazing” cropped top. El ex de Taylor, Harry Styles, lució en la alfombra un traje de la firma EGONLAB, cuyos colores si son bonitos, pero que parece demasiado circense para mi gusto. Después mejoró su “style” para aceptar su premio con un smoking blanco y negro, un pantalón caqui y un ¿top?, de lentejuelas que debería tener ya mismo en mi closet. Para cantar su éxito “As it was” optó de nuevo por un traje de EGONLAB, que parecía una piñata y que tenía flequillos iridiscentes que se podían ver desde el espacio.

La polémica que se armó cuando Harry, recibió el Grammy a Álbum of The Year, de lejos el premio más codiciado de la noche, cuando desde el público gritaban para que se bajara del escenario. Pero la verdadera controversia se armó después de que dijera en su discurso de aceptación que “esto no le pasa a gente como yo muy seguido”, ¡Child!, eres un hombre blanco privilegiado, no vas a recibir un premio y te avientas ese discurso para que la generación woke te cancele. Anitta, llegó con un Versace negro en transparencias que me gustó y con el que creo que cumplió, pero ese estilismo la hacía ver más como una dominatrix en una sesión que una cantante en la alfombra roja de los Grammy. Y aunque no lo crean, Cardi B fue considerada como la mejor vestida de la noche con un Gaurav Gupta Couture en un color azul eléctrico que debería ser un tesoro para los que tenemos la piel más oscura. Este color es sencillamente un 10 de 10.

Jennifer López, nunca falla y esta vez iba de Gucci, con su típica silueta body y una falda transparente. Me gustó mucho su estilismo y ese color. Aunque a mí me pareció camisón para dormir realness, se veía preciosa y eso es lo que cuenta, aunque Ben estuviera abrumadoramente aburrido durante lo poco que se quedaron en la ceremonia. Bad Bunny, después del escándalo que protagonizó al tirarle un teléfono al mar a una fan, tuvo que conformarse con el Grammy a Mejor Álbum de Música Urbana y su elección para la alfombra consistía en una traje blanco y negro complementado con una (horrible) gorra. Y aunque su segundo look, algo más casual, estuvo por lo menos rescatable, pareciera que quisiera suavizar su imagen y llamar menos la atención…

And although his second look, a bit more casual, was at least redeemable, it seemed that he wanted to soften his image and draw less attention...

Lizzo que ganó el premio a Récord of the year, (y que también nos regaló el mejor discurso de la noche) llegó a la alfombra con una alfombra encima que la arropaba. Dolce & Gabbana hizo este vestido en un tono naranja bellísimo. Bebe Rexha lució un vestido con escote halter de color rosado, que acompañaba con unos guantes. Guantes para todos, creo que fue el accesorio en tendencia más presente de la alfombra roja.
