do you believe that people tend to adopt general strategies to deal with challenges they encounter ??

do you believe these strategies are identifiable ??

(1) do you think a person should get their sense of self-worth from within themselves or from what other people think of them?

Hmm.
Depends I suppose, maybe a mix of both.

you honestly don't prefer one over the other ??

When did I say that?

that's what i'm asking, which one do you prefer ?

What other people think of me.

ok

(2) do you prefer to be spontaneous and go out and travel and do things "IRL" or do you prefer to think about doing things and lose yourself in movies and television shows and books ?

Depends on my mood, that isn’t something that’s a one or the other.

which one do you prefer, typically, most of the time, do you feel a need to physically travel to interesting places, or are you just as happy to read about or watch a movie about interesting places ??

I just said…It depends on my mood.

so, sometimes you feel compelled to travel overseas, for fun ?

Yeah not for me, I don’t have compulsions like that personally.
I consider myself relatively conserved with all that.

that's what i'm looking for

That wasn’t what you were asking, was it?

that's exactly what i was asking

Ah, ok, I misunderstood.

(3) do you think people should generally trust their gut or do you think people should generally think things through ??

Depends on the person, and depends on what they trust their gut with.
Like, people who trust their gut with putting their hands snake’s mouths died out through evolution, but people who trusted their gut when they thought a branch was a snake lived through evolution.

do you think that people should automatically "know what is right" in their gut and trust that feeling, or do you think that people should be able to explain "what is right" with words and logic ??

People should always think things through.

(4) do you think people should follow a strict core code of laws or principles no matter what, or do you think that people should follow different rules in different situations ??

Um, both can coexist.
You can have a set of laws in place, but the way you handle certain things can be different to everyone, as long s they stay within the boundaries of the law.
True sometimes the law is stupid, and should be changed.
But for the vast majority of the time, keep within the limits of the law.

ok, what about informal rules like grammar and spelling, do you think these should be generally followed or do you lean towards "it doesn't really matter as long as your message is understood" ??

I’ve never really given that much thought but I’d say its good to follow the general rules.
Since that way the most people can understand what you’re saying.
