Hola amigos, es un gusto saludarles; soy Yeli Marín, periodista venezolana y madre de unos niños muy talentosos. Hoy quiero mostrarles en fotos el final del video que realizamos para el cierre del proyecto de mi hijo Diego, dónde le pedían hablar de su ciudad y de las cosas más emblemáticas en ella.`
Así que pusimos manos a la obra y durante dos días completos nos fuimos a grabar. Lo primero que hice fue elaborar un guión para que mi hijo supiera el texto que iba a decir delante de cámaras y mi esposo se encargó de la grabación y edición, así que juntos hicimos un buen trabajo.
El resultado final quedó muy bueno. Quedé súper complacida del resultado final, al igual que la maestra y todas las personas quienes pudieron verlo. Espero poder mostrarles el resultado final, sin embargo, a través de fotos les puedo hacer un resumen de los lugares que visitamos.

Today I want to show you in photos the end of the video we made for the closing of my son Diego's project, where he was asked to talk about his city and the most emblematic things in it.
So we got down to work and for two full days we went to film. The first thing I did was to develop a script so that my son would know the text he was going to say in front of the camera and my husband was in charge of the recording and editing, so together we did a good job.
The final result was very good. I was very pleased with the final result, as was the teacher and all the people who were able to see it. I hope to be able to show you the final result, however, through photos I can give you a summary of the places we visited.
Inicialmente, comenzamos las grabaciones en la plaza El Balancín, lugar que representa la principal actividad económica de la ciudad, la cual está ubicada en pleno centro de la ciudad.
Fuimos a la Alcaldía de Maturín, donde resaltamos que Maturín continúa siendo la ciudad más limpia del país.
Visitamos la plaza Bolívar, dónde mi hijo explicaba que según el último censo, la ciudad tenía una población de 656.423 habitantes.
En Maturín tenemos las canchas de arena más grandes del país, visitamos la redoma Juana la Avanzadora y nos fuimos a buscar el plato típico.

We visited Plaza Bolivar, where my son explained that according to the last census, the city had a population of 656,423 inhabitants.
In Matirín we have the largest sand courts in the country, we visited the redoma Juana la Avanzadora and we went to look for the typical dish.
Así que llegamos a un restaurante de comida criolla y comimos unas deliciosas cachapas con queso y cochino frito, más el tradicional sancocho de guaraguara, el cual es un pescado y a mi hijo le encantó el jugo de papelón con limón.
Visitamos la Plaza El Indio, esta plaza debe su nombre al cachique jefe de una tribu de nombre Maturín, junto a esta estatua están 13 barras de metal que representan los 13 municipios del estado, siendo Maturín su capital.
Para resaltar el clima seco tropical y muy cambiante de Maturín, esperamos que comenzara a llover después de un clima caluroso, no fue sino en minutos que comenzó a llover y tuvimos la toma perfecta, justo en el elevado de Boquerón, donde está el nombre de la ciudad en letras grandes.
So we arrived at a Creole food restaurant and ate some delicious cachapas with cheese and fried pork, plus the traditional sancocho de guaraguara, which is a fish and my son loved the paprika juice with lemon.
We visited the Plaza El Indio, this square owes its name to the cachique chief of a tribe named Maturin, next to this statue are 13 metal bars representing the 13 municipalities of the state, Maturin being its capital.
To highlight the dry tropical and very changeable weather of Maturin, we waited for it to start raining after a hot weather, it wasn't but in minutes that it started to rain and we had the perfect shot, right on the elevated Boqueron, where the name of the city is in big letters.
Visitamos el parque zoológico de la Guaricha, aquí en mi ciudad es normal decirle a los niños "guaricho" o carajito sin ningún problema.
Pero este recorrido no estaría completo sin visitar el estadio Monumental de Maturín, también conocido como la joya de Oriente, el cual tiene una capacidad de más de 52 mil espectadores. Aquí se realizan importantes juegos internacionales, dónde siempre apoyamos a nuestra selección Vinotinto.
Matuín, la ciudad distinta, donde el gentilicio de sus habitantes te hará volver, dónde nos puedes dejar de visitar el pueblo del Corozo y llevarte uno de sus tantos dulces criollos, o dónde bañarte en alguno de sus ríos y morichales siempre será de agrado.
We visited the Guaricha zoological park, here in my city it is normal to call children "guaricho" or "carajito" without any problem.
But this tour would not be complete without visiting the Monumental Stadium of Maturin, also known as the jewel of the East, which has a capacity of more than 52 thousand spectators. Important international games are held here, where we always support our Vinotinto national team.
Matuín, the different city, where the people of its inhabitants will make you come back, where you can't miss visiting the town of Corozo and take one of its many Creole sweets, or where bathing in one of its rivers and morichales will always be a pleasure.
Aquí existen muchos lugares geniales, no sólo en el municipio Maturín, sino a lo largo y ancho del estado Monagas, desde playas virgenes que aún no han sido descubiertas por muchos, música, folklore, montañas, cuevas, ríos, paisajes y mucho más.
Mi país, Venezuela, es un lugar paradisiaco, el mejor país del mundo, con importantes riquezas naturales y Maturín no escapa a ello. Gracias por leerme y será hasta la próxima.
