El día de hoy les quiero hablar sobre un gran suceso que pasó en Venezuela, justamente en el territorio de Distrito Capital que llenó mi corazón de mucha alegría como de gran orgullo y es que recientemente en el Parque Los Caobos se inauguró la primera Expo-Amazonas 2022.

Para responder dicha pregunta a este público tan variado de distintas nacionalidades que hoy en día conforma la plataforma de Hive debo comenzar informando que Venezuela es la tierra prometida del Paraíso ya que en su territorio se cuentan con llanos, zonas selváticas, médanos y hasta nieve.

Por si no fuera suficiente contamos con innumerables especies de animales como una gran variedad de alimentos como personas únicas en cultura y forma de ser.

Amazonas es el territorio con más ambientes naturales sobre el territorio Venezolano y aunque su población no es muy numerosa, todas las personas que habitan ese territorio están llenos de una gran valor cultural proveniente de la historia como de sus antepasados.
Amazonas is the territory with more natural environments on the Venezuelan territory and although its population is not very numerous, all the people who inhabit this territory are full of a great cultural value coming from history and their ancestors.
En este territorio hay un gran número de comunidades indígenas donde entre ellas se apoyan entre sí y sacan adelantepor medio de sus obras y de la actividad pesquera el territorio.

Para viajar de Caracas hasta Amazonas se deben pasar un aproximado de 14 a 24 horas si se opta por un hospedaje por lo cual es importante atesorar estos momentos donde esa cultura recorre tantos kilómetros para mostrar a los habitantes de Caracas como todo lector de esta plataforma la cultura, comida, y tradiciones existentes.

Para comenzar uno de los productos más emblemáticos a nivel gastronómico que tiene Amazonas es el llamado Mañoco.
To begin with, one of the most emblematic gastronomic products of the Amazon is the Mañoco.
Este producto es elaborado mayoritariamente en las comunidades indígenas y realmente es a mi parecer uno de los productos gastronómicos más versátiles ya que desde que tengo uso de razón se puede utilizar como espesante en sopas, acompañantes o como suplemento del arroz y la pasta; a su vez puede ser utilizado en platillos salados como dulces.
This product is elaborated mainly in the indigenous communities and really is, in my opinion, one of the most versatile gastronomic products since I can remember it can be used as a thickener in soups, side dishes or as a supplement to rice and pasta; at the same time it can be used in both savory and sweet dishes.
😁 Por lo cual entenderán que este es el pan de cada día que tanto amo y que a mi cuerpo le encanta consumir ya que el Mañoco es un producto natural, sin químicos ni conservantes artificiales; está realizado a base de Yuca Amarga o Dulce si se quiere, todo depende del gusto de la personas.
😁 So you will understand that this is the daily bread that I love so much and that my body loves to consume because the Mañoco is a natural product, without chemicals or artificial preservatives; it is made from Bitter Yucca or Sweet if you want, it all depends on the taste of the people.
La diferencia de hacer este producto con Yuca Amarga o Yuca Dulce es:
- El color amarillo (Puede ser más o menos intenso)
- Sabor (Igualmente varia según la yuca utilizada)

En este caso para mí fue una gran sorpresa poder obtener este producto sin pasar horas viajando y ahorrando en pagar autobuses.

Es un alimento fundamental para la población de Amazonas tanto como para mi ya que crecí comiendo platos como la Jarofa (huevo revuelto con mañoco) lo cual considero un deleite mañanero. Es la mejor forma de comenzar el día.
It is a fundamental food for the people of Amazonas as well as for me since I grew up eating dishes like Jarofa (scrambled egg with mañoco) which I consider a morning delight. It is the best way to start the day.
Luego está la Yucuta que consistía en que mi madre o primas me dieran un vaso de agua con hielo, azúcar y mañoco todo revuelto, para luego ser tomado como el agua saborizada más refrescante del planeta.
Then there is the Yucuta which consisted of my mother or cousins giving me a glass of water with ice, sugar and mañoco all stirred together, to be drunk as the most refreshing flavored water on the planet.
Otra preparación Icónica es la Cabeza de Gallo que es el Mañoco mojado con tomate, cebolla y hojas verdes bien cortadas finamente; que en mi pueblo es generalmente utilizado para comer acompañado de un pescado a la leña.
Another Iconic preparation is the Cabeza de Gallo which is the Mañoco soaked with tomato, onion and finely chopped green leaves; which in my town is generally used to eat with a wood-fired fish.
¿ES ESTE EL VERDADERO ORO VENEZOLANO? |IS THIS THE REAL VENEZUELAN GOLD?
Yo diría que sí ya que es un alimento tan versátil, que este producto simplemente se puede utilizar en todos los platillos del día a día, es decir, desayuno, almuerzo como cena; por lo cual es mi deber poder mostrar por medio de esta publicación la gran riqueza gastronómica que hay en el Amazonas Venezolano que aún es desconocida tanto en la Capital como en otros Países.
I would say yes, since it is such a versatile food, that this product can simply be used in all daily dishes, that is, breakfast, lunch and dinner; so it is my duty to show through this publication the great gastronomic richness that exists in the Venezuelan Amazon that is still unknown in the Capital as well as in other countries.
Otro producto que me trajo muchos recuerdos y que resalto en la exposición es la Catara, para quienes no la conozcan por favor leer la imagen que indica que es un tipo de picante realizado por los indígenas habitantes del Territorio de Amazonas; para sus habitantes tiene el mismo valor que el agua mineral ya que los niños crecen probando este producto y aunque no soy tan fanática mis padres sienten una gran amor por este producto.
Another product that brought me many memories and that I highlight in the exhibition is the Catara, for those who do not know it please read the image that indicates that it is a type of spicy made by the indigenous inhabitants of the Territory of Amazonas; for its inhabitants it has the same value as mineral water since children grow up tasting this product and although I am not so fanatic my parents feel a great love for this product.
Tanto así que la Catara es el único picante por excelencia que utilizan para las comidas, sea desayuno, almuerzo o cena.
So much so that Catara is the only spice par excellence used for meals, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Lo interesante de este producto además de ser originario y realizado por la población indigena es que entre sus componentes se utiliza el Yare de la Yuca Amarga, lo que quiere decir que este producto es un tanto exotico por su delicada preparación.
The interesting thing about this product, besides being native and made by the indigenous population, is that among its components the Yare de la Yuca Amarga is used, which means that this product is somewhat exotic due to its delicate preparation.
Como ingrediente secreto a este producto se le coloca originalmente unas cuantas hormigas culonas llamadas Bachaco; esta hormiga la pueden ver en la etiqueta del producto ya que es el segundo ingrediente único que lo hace resaltar del resto de productos de otros países.
As a secret ingredient, this product originally contains a few "culonas" ants called Bachaco; this ant can be seen on the label of the product since it is the second unique ingredient that makes it stand out from the rest of the products from other countries.
Otro producto a destacar es el Mañoco de Almidón que al igual que el Mañoco amarillo este viene presentado en pequeñas pepas circulares y la principal diferencia entre los dos es su color blanco; como que además este tipo de productos solo suelen ser utilizados en bebidas como: café con leche, leche sola y preparaciones dulces.
Another product to be highlighted is the Mañoco de Almidón which, like the yellow Mañoco, is presented in small circular seeds and the main difference between the two is its white color; besides, this type of product is only used in beverages such as: coffee with milk, plain milk and sweet preparations.
Al momento de preparar las bebidas es importante saber que una vez servidas, se debe colocar el presente mañoco de almidón; luego de colocar una considerable cantidad según el gusto de la persona, la bebida debe reposar por 30 minutos a 1 hora para que el mañoco de almidón pueda absorber el líquido.
When preparing the beverages, it is important to know that once they are served, the starch mañoco should be added; after adding a considerable amount according to the person's taste, the beverage should rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour so that the starch mañoco can absorb the liquid.

El beneficio de este tipo de Té 100% natural es que puede mejorar los niveles de insulina en la sangre, la memoria y por ende el aprendizaje.

El Arte está representado de distintas maneras según la visión del espectador y el propio creador.

Con esto dicho les presentó estás distintas obras de arte realizadas por la población Amazonense. Que a mí parecer con solo ver estas pinturas te puedes llegar a teletransportar o incluso ver una parte de esta tierra bendecida por su gran naturaleza.
With this being said, we present these different works of art made by the Amazonian population. It seems to me that just by looking at these paintings you can get to teleport or even see a part of this land blessed by its great nature.
En esta pintura se refleja con gran vives los colores y el paisaje inédito del Amazonas de Venezuela.
This painting reflects with great vives the colors and the unprecedented landscape of the Venezuelan Amazon.
Los tepuyes se alzan a la vista y se logra observar ese cielo azul totalmente despejado realizado de manera divina. Los distintos matices de las hojas de los grandes árboles parecen querer traspasar el lienzo en el cual fueron pintados.
The tepuis rise to the sight and you can observe that blue sky totally clear made in a divine way. The different shades of the leaves of the great trees seem to want to go beyond the canvas on which they were painted.
Simplemente es un recuadro que engloba parte de la belleza del territorio del Amazonas.
It is simply a box that encompasses part of the beauty of the Amazon territory.
Por último está esta pintura donde se visualizan las canoas de los indígenas arribando después de un largo viaje a la tierra prometida.
Finally, there is this painting where the canoes of the Indians are visualized arriving after a long journey to the promised land.
Es Amazonas un lugar que tiene mucho potencial turístico; las personas que ocupan este territorio día a día se esfuerzan por demostrar el valor cultural que se adquiere al vivir en estos espacios que no han sido totalmente modificados por la mano del hombre.
Amazonas is a place that has a lot of tourist potential; the people who occupy this territory day by day strive to demonstrate the cultural value that is acquired by living in these spaces that have not been totally modified by the hand of man.
Estas carteras y cestas considero que personalmente son otra manifestación de arte puro ya que son realizadas por mujeres y jóvenes adolescentes de las distintas comunidades indígenas, las cuales cumplen el rol de realizar estos tipos de utensilios para cargar frutas como objetos de gran peso.
I personally consider these purses and baskets to be another manifestation of pure art, since they are made by women and young adolescents from the different indigenous communities, who play the role of making these types of utensils to carry fruit as heavy objects.
Otra actividad que se suele realizar es el tallado de madera, de tal forma que la madera es transformada según la visión del creador en estas obras de arte que representan la imagen vivas de los distintos pájaros que habitan dentro del territorio Venezolano y otros animales como los chigüires.
Another activity that is usually performed is wood carving, in such a way that the wood is transformed according to the vision of the creator in these works of art that represent the living image of the different birds that inhabit within the Venezuelan territory and other animals such as the chigüires.
De igual manera el tallado y transformación de la madera da lugar a distintas representaciones como usos, ya que si se observan las imágenes también se realizaron en esta exposición máscaras, tazones, figuras humanas con ciertas características y expresiones únicas.
Similarly, the carving and transformation of wood gives rise to different representations as uses, since if you look at the images, masks, bowls, human figures with certain characteristics and unique expressions were also made in this exhibition.
Todo lo presentado está realizado con el mayor cuidado y dedicación posible así que puedo afirmar que el talento Venezolano y de los habitantes del territorio amazonense es 100 % de la mejor calidad.

ACTIVIDADES RECREATIVAS |RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Aquí podrán observar varios panfletos de las distintas empresas de viaje; lo que tienen en común todas ellas es que quieren brindar a los participantes ya sea del extranjero como de los mismos habitantes de otros Estados una experiencia única por medio de las excursiones al aire libre.
Here you can see several brochures of the different travel companies; what they all have in common is that they want to offer participants from abroad and from the inhabitants of other states a unique experience through outdoor excursions.
También es importante resaltar que se fomentan las expediciones en barco como por avión, observando de esta manera los distintos ríos, los cielos y la vegetación que rodea todo el territorio.

¿QUÉ ME LLEVE DE ESTA EXPERIENCIA? |WHAT WILL I TAKE AWAY FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
🤣Felizmente puedo decir que además de recordar varios momentos con mi familia hice el papel de consumidora y compre unos cuantos Túpiros, Mañoco, Catara, Pulpa de CopoAzú, Pulpa de Manaca para hacer Jugo(Que ya se acabo en este preciso momento) como Vino de Manaca y Limones Brasileños que ahora también son cultivados en Amazonas.
🤣Happily I can say that besides remembering several moments with my family I played the role of consumer and bought a few Túpiros, Mañoco, Catara, CopoAzú Pulp, Manaca Pulp to make Juice(which is already finished at this very moment) as Manaca Wine and Brazilian Lemons that are now also grown in Amazonas.
Para mi familia fue una experiencia mágica el poder comprar estos productos en la Capital de Caracas ya que desde Distrito Capital hasta Amazonas en autobús son 14 horas mínimas de viaje, más el capital que uno debe llevar para la estadía, festejos familiares y compra de productos nativos.
For my family it was a magical experience to be able to buy these products in the capital of Caracas, since from the Capital District to Amazonas by bus is a minimum 14 hour trip, plus the capital that one must carry for the stay, family celebrations and purchase of native products.
Sin más que agregar espero que hayan podido disfrutar de lo que tiene para mostrar esta parte del territorio del país, su cultura, arte y productos gastronómicos.
