Wonderfully told, @zyzymena. This moving story has excellent pacing and good development. It tugs at the heartstrings and we are left aching for Mia's loss, alongside her. Your tweak clarified the lack of contact between mother and daughter, although we still wonder why Mia made no effort to contact her mother in a different manner when she did not hear back from her. Nevertheless I loved this read. Bravo!
